Atrial fibrilation
Hi, I have suffered with AF since 2018 resulting in 4 cardioversions and 3 ablations (the last was on Friday 17th May and was an
AV
node
ablation
linked with connection of a previously implanted Pacemaker. I had hoped that I would be feeling great, no breathlessness.

AV node ablation with pacemaker implant
Now my new EP suggested having an
AV
node
ablation
as a last resort. However, he advised me that it is with some risks, the procedure, and also with a pacemaker implanted. I'm on Atenolol, 12 mg once a day, and Digoxin, 75 mg. I feel unwell and without energy.

I meant to say my final
ablation
was a

after my previous 3 ablations.

2nd Ablation
Further
ablation
required at IVC end. Atrial Myopathy hence
Av
Node
ablation
should be done if AF recurs. The trouble is the AF episodes getting picked up by the PM in first place. When I've had them nothing seems shows on their end.

Reducing Bisoprolol after ablation
After my
AV
node
cryo
ablation
at the JR on Friday the consultant said I could reduce my bisoprolol dose from 5mg to 2.5mg. I'm thinking I'll get through the recovery period before I do that; I've seen reference to side effects of bisoprolol dose reduction on here.

Professor Richard Schilling and Dr Nikolaos.
Dr Papageoriou suggested
AV
node
ablation
and pacemaker. Had it performed in St Bart’s London. returned for pacemaker setting as one wire was laying properly PM had a lead revision but it’s better but not perfect. Prof Schilling was happy with it. After having pacemaker wound opened up .

Living with a pacemaker after AV Node Ablation
I'm wondering about what others might be or have experienced with being fully on a pacemaker after

Dual chamber pacemaker and HF
Hi, had a dual chamber pacemaker fitted back in July 2022 following AV node ablation. Now have HF, told by HF nurse possible cause may be due to the pacing of the R/H chambers causing strain to the L/H as it needs work harder Had symptoms of HF since being paced, HF just confirmed in the last week through

AV - Ablation and Tachycardia-Bradycardia
After a recent visit and consultation with my doctor, he suggested I go forward with an
AV
node
ablation
, since I already was being somewhat controlled by a pacemaker. Yesterday, I had the procedure.

AV Node Ablation
I was disappointed with her attitude, she said that she didn't have a magic wand to wave and what did I expect at 82 (which I thought was very rude) She told me that I had 3 choices - do nothing - take Amiodarone (which can cause a lot of problems) or

Post pace and ablate
Hi everyone…..I said I would do a follow up after leaving hospital for
AV
node
ablation
. I was kept in hospital for four extra days because of breathlessness which was pretty extreme. Eventually was allowed to go home still not feeling too good.
