AV - Ablation and Tachycardia-Bradycardia
After a recent visit and consultation with my doctor, he suggested I go forward with an
AV
node
ablation
, since I already was being somewhat controlled by a pacemaker. Yesterday, I had the procedure.

AV Node Ablation
I was disappointed with her attitude, she said that she didn't have a magic wand to wave and what did I expect at 82 (which I thought was very rude) She told me that I had 3 choices - do nothing - take Amiodarone (which can cause a lot of problems) or

2nd Ablation
Further
ablation
required at IVC end. Atrial Myopathy hence
Av
Node
ablation
should be done if AF recurs. The trouble is the AF episodes getting picked up by the PM in first place. When I've had them nothing seems shows on their end.

Reducing Bisoprolol after ablation
After my
AV
node
cryo
ablation
at the JR on Friday the consultant said I could reduce my bisoprolol dose from 5mg to 2.5mg. I'm thinking I'll get through the recovery period before I do that; I've seen reference to side effects of bisoprolol dose reduction on here.

Dual chamber pacemaker and HF
Hi, had a dual chamber pacemaker fitted back in July 2022 following AV node ablation. Now have HF, told by HF nurse possible cause may be due to the pacing of the R/H chambers causing strain to the L/H as it needs work harder Had symptoms of HF since being paced, HF just confirmed in the last week through

Post pace and ablate
Hi everyone…..I said I would do a follow up after leaving hospital for
AV
node
ablation
. I was kept in hospital for four extra days because of breathlessness which was pretty extreme. Eventually was allowed to go home still not feeling too good.

AV node ablation on Friday...getting a touch nervous!!
I find myself A few days away from an
AV
node
ablation
, following a CRTP insertion at the beginning of January. In one way it can't come soon enough, as I am so symptomatic with this paroximal AF and Brachicardia . However I am getting nervous now, the
AV
node
ablation
being only a few days away.

AV node ablation
hi all I thought I would let you know I had my
AV
node
ablation
last Friday. If you have read My posts you will realise I was scared silly about it as it is so final. Dr Graham at LGI was amazing as were all the staff. They were so careful to make sure I was as calm as I could be.

AV node ablation and pacemaker put in
So, I have taken the last resort to ease my dilemma (I’m 85 y. o. woman) and I have the
AV
node
ablation
in a couple of weeks. I have already had a pacemaker put in two weeks ago.
Any comment regarding the above would be much appreciated.
