AV Node Ablation update
It has now been just over a week since I had my
AV
Node
Ablation
. I had been extremely nervous beforehand especially knowing that I would be reliant on my pacemaker. The pace and ablate procedure doesn't 'cure' AF but it does control it and I can testify that is absolutely the case.

Dapagliflozin
Just before that started, I had an
av
node
ablation
done in early January 2020. I've felt great ever since. Highly recommended, no pain or discomfort during the procedure and it only took 45 minutes. My latest news is that I've been put on Dapagliflozin by my cardiologist, for breathlessness.

What is wrong with me?
so, about six years ago my platelets started to be elevated. The doctors don’t seem too concerned. I was researching on my own a couple years ago and found out about ET. I started asking questions and advocating for myself. I asked to be tested for the Jak2 mutation and to be seen by a hematologist.

After RP who goes over Pathology?
We messaged Surgeon through portal and asked how many lymph nodes removed. He states that pathology will tell us that…Does the medical oncologist go over the surgery pathology?. My husband has great physicians, but definitely confused by these mixed messages of whom is willing to give my husband answers

Ablation done.
hello all, I wanted to share my recent ablation experience in the event it helps/informs. My headlines are. Diagnosed with AF in April ‘22 after attending gp’ with high stuttering heart rate. prescribed bisoprolol and apixaban. Remained in AF until cardioversion in May, established NSR but sadly

Hi ….from a newly dx’d comrade from the UK
I’m 56 and I’ve recently been dx’d with lobular ER+ breast cancer (2cm), go back to see consultant on Monday for MRI results. I have a lumpectomy & sentinel lymph node removal scheduled for the 28th March. Drs Initial plan was for removal, tamoxifen & chemo….but that may have changed since MRI

Catheter Ablation
I had the procedure on 3rd of February. I seem to be on the mend and have limited my exercise to walking and a swim. I sometimes feel a blip and check my heart which still registers NSR. I continue to take apixaban and sotalol 80mg per day. Does anyone get occasional burning sensation - I feel this

Had av node.ablation one week ago still feel heart beating and rate in the 80's. Is this normal. Also my pacemaker appears to have moved and I can feel it. Does this happen.

Short spell of dizziness
hello to you all I had catheter ablation end of Sept 2022 to alleviate flutter. I also had lots of annoying etopics. I was suffering with some tachycardia too and very low BP which made taking Bisosporol an issue. All went well. I’m currently on Edoxaban and 2.5 Bisosporol as a PIP. Things had settled

Seeking pearls of wisdom.
My Cardiologist is suggesting an
AV
Node
ablation
. Which isn't reversible and leaving me pacemaker dependent the rest of my life. So, before I pull the trigger on that idea I really need to get it right. Has anyone out there had than
AV
Node
ablation
and what can I expect after??
