I meant to say my final

was a
AV

after my previous 3 ablations.

AV Node Ablation
I was disappointed with her attitude, she said that she didn't have a magic wand to wave and what did I expect at 82 (which I thought was very rude) She told me that I had 3 choices - do nothing - take Amiodarone (which can cause a lot of problems) or

AV node ablation
hi all I thought I would let you know I had my
AV
node
ablation
last Friday. If you have read My posts you will realise I was scared silly about it as it is so final. Dr Graham at LGI was amazing as were all the staff. They were so careful to make sure I was as calm as I could be.

AV node ablation on Friday...getting a touch nervous!!
I find myself A few days away from an
AV
node
ablation
, following a CRTP insertion at the beginning of January. In one way it can't come soon enough, as I am so symptomatic with this paroximal AF and Brachicardia . However I am getting nervous now, the
AV
node
ablation
being only a few days away.

AV Node ablation.
I'm assuming he will be advising me to go ahead with an
AV
node
ablation
to help control my afib, which l now get every other day lasting on average for 4/5 hours. Although there are lots of positive stories here regarding Pace and Ablate l am still worried about having this done.

Edoxaban versus Rivaroxaban
I am slightly reluctant with any changes to my medication as I suffered very badly from all the different AF medications resulting in a very successful pacemaker and
AV

ablation
. I now only take Rivaroxaban for my AF .

One month post AV node ablation
It is almost a month since my
AV
node
ablation
and the swelling and shortness of breath have subsided. My pacemaker is currently set to rate response with a range of 80-130. I recently started riding my bike again taking it slow for now until I build my stamina back up.
