Some advice please xx
Hi hoping somebody could maybe help me out here where doctors can't. I've had wpw and svt since I was born but only became symptomatic at the age of around 5 I think, I am now 16 and this year 6 months I got the catheter ablation done. Everything went well but afterwards I started having skipped beats

AV node ablation . What does success mean?
I have been following recent posts on
AV
node
ablation
. I am interested because I am a worst case scenario person and I like to know what may be at the end of the road for me.

Should I Ablate ?
I have now visited my EP and have received a thorough report from him. He has left the decision to me if I want to go ahead with the procedure . The waiting time would be about two-three month . I am 72 with underlying heart conditions , but very active in the gym and tennis player . 1. He does not

When to start exercise again post catheter ablation for a 35 year old who exercised daily prior to procedure?
Hi everyone, just to let you all know that I had a catheter ablation under GA yesterday morning, and according to the consultant was a successful however I was told that I have a unusually large Atrium so AF could return. So far my heart has been regular, but means nothing I know! Also groin feels

First post from yet another fearful afibber (lone longstanding persistent) facing an ablation!
So much to say and so much to ask – not sure where to start! First though, thank you all for just being here. I have lurked since discovering you soon after my diagnosis 10 months ago and have learnt so much. It has been comforting (especially as I live alone and have no immediate supportive family

Atypical left atrial flutter post-ablation
Feeling much, much better after ablation three months ago, but EP thinks I may have developed the above condition. I finally found an article {see abstract below} which gives some insight into what he was saying at my follow-up appointment. It is not definite and I am having to have more tests

After Av node ablation
Is this a normal progression after
av
node
ablation
? Do
av
node
ablations have to be done more than once? Had hoped to be able to walk, talk, and breath at the same time.

AFIB and Breo Inhaler
Hi: I had cardiac ablation 6 weeks ago and have suddenly developed breathing problems. I went to a pulmonary doctor this morning and she has prescribed Breo Ellipta inhaler. Is there anyone here who is using this medication? Should I worry about going back into AFIB on this? Thank you :)

Endometrial Ablation
Hi there. I'm booked in for E A next month and would like to know of any experiences people have had. I'm 36 and have had trouble my entire pubescent < life with endo symptoms with no actual endo, bleed for 2 weeks every month. Highly frustrating especially since no contras work (I've tried them ALL)

I am now 5 weeks post cardiac ablation and for the past two weeks have suffered with breathing problems and a dry, non-productive cough. I saw my PCP last week and he put me on Medrol for a 6 day period. I also had a chest x-ray which showed nothing. Today I saw my regular cardiologist (not my EP), and

Hip, Pelvis, Groin and Lower Back Pain. Help needed as Difficulty with standing and walking.
Really struggling with pain in hips, groin, pelvis and lower back, which is making walking and standing still even more difficult than usual. My usual GP is away until the 24th so I've left a message with rheumatology. Previous advice was to try to stay out of the wheelchair. (Rheumatology have said
