Had AV node ablation 3 days ago

Feel ok but concerned about Being Breathless

This seems to be more when I go upstairs or when I am doing something other than resting

I know I won’t feel that good for a while every procedure takes it’s toll on your body and I certainly know about ablations having had 4 in the past

But Breathless after AV node ablation does anyone know if this is common?

I see you have heart failure like me i had an ablation 2 months ago put on 4 kilos in 4 days i went to the ER with breathlessness and did 4 days in hospital..I do know during an ablation they pump a lot of fluid into you and i showed no signs of oedema either but had high triponin and BNP markers and did have fluid on my lung...I hope that helped some i hope you get checked out any way i wish you good health..

Hi. Can you get in touch with your cardiac nurse. They are usually good after an ablation. Or bug 111 or talk to your doctor? You need some advice and perhaps help. Best wishes x

I have put in a call to the hospital and wait to receive the call. I am thinking the pacemaker settings may have to tweaked or my body has to settle
