New study indicates that taxifolin "could" reduce chronic inflammation, promote healthy aging and improve healthspan of lupus sufferers.
He told us that neutrophil hyperactivity and excessive NET release is a hallmark event in lupus and various
autoimmune
diseases

Hashimotos, Pernicious Anaemia, Coeliac disease, Hyperparathyroidism, and am being referred for testing for rheumatoid arthritis.

Does anyone with LUPUS get reoccurring Shingles/ Herpes Zoster infections?
I recently went to my immunology appointment in Cambridge and the specialist is convinced it’s most likely Lupus and says she will be running the test as well as giving my rheumatologist a nudge and guidance for the lupus diagnosis especially as I have a big family history of
autoimmune
diseases

Thoughts and Help
I do have a positive ANA (1280, homogenous) last time it was checked, but as all other blood works comes back normal, we have stopped chasing
autoimmune
diseases
(at least for now). I have been tested for Lupus, Sjogren’s, and MS (and I am sure other
autoimmune
diseases
).

Getting tested for autoimmune diseases
She ordered a bunch of blood tests to rule out various
autoimmune
diseases
or viruses. I got the blood tests and I'm awaiting my results. As far as I know, I haven't had any other symptoms that points to an autoimmune disease.

New here 🤗
My question is, does my ANA reading suggest it’s Underactive Throid, when I have looked it up it’s suggesting lupus, Sjorgens or other
autoimmune
diseases
. Also, when I get my Throid results back, what would the readings show if I did have Thyroid issues. Sorry for such a long post.

‘Antibodies sometimes present and others not therefore no treatment’
In other words it’s the reason
autoimmune
diseases
are incurable. But I’m being refused treatment because of negative
autoimmune
tests overruling previous positive tests at different places and times.

I have 2
autoimmune

, Sjogren’s and Hashimotos also, so I posted about the ET on “Smart Patients” an online support group for

. One of the patients on that website informed me of this MPN website and I found your very helpful and informative posts.

Study investigating journeys to diagnosis recruiting people with lupus, Sjögren’s, and/or UCTD
A new study is investigating why it takes some people a long time to get diagnosed with systemic
autoimmune
rheumatic
diseases
(SARDs) like lupus, UCTD, and Sjögren’s, but other people have a much shorter time to diagnosis.
