Knee operation in primary lymphoedema of legs

I have had a knee arthroscopy recently and a menisectomy which has been effective for the pain I was having. I was worried about Cellulitis so I talked with my GP about it and asked for a course of antibiotics to cover the op and the five days after. I spoke with the surgeon, too, of course. It has worked and I have had no problems. I am sharing this in case others with primary lymphoedema are concerned about having operations

I had that same operation in 2007 before Lymphoedema was ever diagnosed..seems I have had it since at least 2002 or way before ...not been able to pinpoint the start of it...I had no problems after the op which was good..Lymphoedema wasn't diagnosed til late 2012
