Itchy scalp

We have posted about itchy scalp before and one thing that helped me was Head & Shoulders itchy scalp shampoo. But it’s no longer as good as it used to be. I checked the ingredients and they have changed the anti-fungal from zinc pyrithione to piroctone olamine. My face rashes and soreness have kicked off again too although this may not be connected.

Time to look for any other shampoo with ZPT in it!

Hi

I suffer with the same condition. I also had a patch of psoriasis at the back of my head. I use khadi rose shampoo which I buy on amazon. It has natural ingredients and has worked really well for me and psoriasis has disappeared. What might work for one person might not work for another, but might be worth a try.

Hi jumper99

I have the same problem too.

Some years back someone on this site suggested the ginger shampoo from the body shop for the same problem.

I tried it and it has worked very well for me. I am also hyper chemical sensitive, so i have to be very careful with what i use . I dont use any conditioner for this reason.

Hope this helps

All the best
