Penile/scrotal raphe is red

My penile/scrotal raphe has been red for about three weeks. This is the visible line or ridge on the underside of the penis that runs from the scrotum to the tip of the penis. The red extends slightly into the upper scrotum. It does not hurt or itch, but it shouldn't be red. I also have a mild case of balanitis which is not responding particularly well to anti-fungal or antibiotic creams. I can only wonder whether the balanitis is related to the reddish raphe. Anybody know what's going on? Or have treatment recommendations for the reddish raphe? I can find neither narrative nor photos related to this condition on medical websites like WebMD.

I would be inclined to think that the redness of the raphe is related to having balanitis rather than the other way round.

Either way, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible about your balanitis as you may need something more than anti-fungals to cure it.
