I’ve been dealing with a fungal infection / Balanitis for the past 3 months 1/2. It started when I had smegma underneath my foreskin built up that caused redness. I was prescribed Ketoconazole and Desitin which got rid of the infection in 3 weeks. I was dealing with a bit of tip issues towards the end so I continued using Ketoconazole it would help but it was causing Erectile Dysfunction so I went to a Urologist and he gave me a Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream for the swelling on my tip. Nystatin would burn but when I tried to go back to Ketoconazole it made things worse so I stayed with Nystatin and things were ok but my tip was even more swollen. I tried to use Desitin again and it made things worse. So I continued using Nystatin my penis was feeling a bit better. I would also drink a natural antifungal tea and Eat an anti candida Diet. I started developing issues urinating though because my tip was still swollen. So I recently decided to use Ketoconazole again on my penis tip to deswell it while putting Nystatin on the rest of my penis (underneath my foreskin) and now my Tip is on fire, numb and it burns and stings when I urinate. The rest of my penis is also numb for some reason and Nystatin is no longer helping me I feel inflammation numbness tingling and burning all under my foreskin and tip, it’s been 5 days since I felt like this because it was 5 days ago that I reput Ketoconazole in my tip. I also tried putting coconut oil while in the shower to get rid of the burning it did not work and using soap to wash off the coconut oil aggravated my situation.
What should I do I’m thinking of going natural and using yogurt, or coconut oil mixed with tea tree oil instead? Maybe Aloe Vera. Also I was thinking of buying an all natural Tea Tree oil Soap from Thursday Plantation? I’ve been washing with just water and it was helping but now it stings when water hits my penis.
I’m just bummed because I was almost done with this infection and I reggravated it by putting Ketoconazole. It was mainly the swelling that I wanted to get rid of since Ketoconazole worked so well the first time. Should I just stop using Nystatin for a few days?
I’d gladly appreciate anyone’s response.
