Question re Sertraline.
If so are there alternative
antidepressants
that you would recommend? If she is changing from Sertraline to an alternative does she have to withdraw from Sertraline gradually? Many thanks in advance. Our love and thoughts go to you all in your various struggles. P

Struggling
I am now on two
antidepressants
and they keep me afloat. I work from home and I am a high achiever but I’m also an introvert who has always been a loner. My mind doesn’t stop thinking and I feel sadness often. But I’m functional and no one would suspect that depression plagues me.

Antidepressant
Hi, is there anyone else on here who is taking Duloxetiene? I’ve been on 30mg for months, and haven’t felt good, but about 2.5 weeks ago my doctor increased it to 60mg, but now I feel worse. Don’t know if I should cut down again to 30mg. I feel very shaky and I get this horrible sadness and overwhelming

How to find Hope
This post mentions suicide and some sensitive topics and may be triggering. It's also longer but I tried to cut it down so please bear with me.
I've been living with OCD since I was diagnosed at age 9. Fairly standard symptoms
, I went through ERP and CBT until age 16 when I made major strides

What antidepressant agravates rls
I've been put on Fluoxetine for anxiety but I'm wondering if it is making my rls worse. Is there another one would be better.

Medication Clomipramine
Hello all. I went to see a psychiatrist today who suggested I take Clomipramine antidepressant as I am very depressed and sometimes suicidal. Has anybody else taken this. It says it interferes with levothyroxine. Thank you.

Fatigue
My GP has put me on
antidepressants
. I catch lots of coughs and colds, and they hang around for 3 weeks but my white cell count is fine. I can't imagine feeling like this for the rest of my life. Has anyone got any tips on how they manage the fatigue?

Root Cause
I know taking
antidepressants
are meant to eliminate many of the symptoms associated with IBS therefore is it not safe to assume that the root cause of IBS is also psychological too?

Mental breakdown
I have been to the doctor's and they have started me on
antidepressants
, I asked for them. It was such a relief to talk to the doctor and everything came piling out of me and couldn't stop crying. So am hoping these tablets will help but the side effects are already happening!

Getting back on antidepressants help
My question for you all is in what way has
antidepressants
helped you? Does it give you more energy to do the things you need? Take away the dark feelings? Fill the emptiness?

Silent reflux symptoms?
My GP can't either, and their final diagnosis is it must just be stress and I should take
antidepressants
or put up with it because they aren't going to investigate any further.

Prostap extreme depression-what can help?
I don't know if it's worth asking for
antidepressants
as I know it's hormonal and they take weeks to kick in... Has anyone else had this or found that on month 3 they felt normal again? I don't really want to stop the prostap as it's helping a lot with my pain...

increase in mirtazapine
Can anyone advise how long it takes to feel the benefit of increasing their dose of antidepressant. I have increased from 30mg to 45mg of Mirtazapine about 2 weeks ago & thought by now I should be feeling an improvement. Sometimes I think I doing ok & then I’m back to feeling that they are not helping

RLS and antidepressants
I know
antidepressants
make RLS worse. I took Sertraline for the first time several years ago , and managed to stay on it 5.5 months, then the RLS/PLMD got unbearable so I came off it.
