So pleased for you. I’m on citalapram but they no longer seem to be working.

yes this seems to be commonly prescribed , i suppose what i want is for someone to tell me they went on to a certain med and it made a massive difference to them very quickly

I know that feeling but everyone reacts differently so it’s a bit trial and error.

I was on citalopram but my anxiety just increased within the weeks to come and it just got so bad I couldn't even leave my bed I had to stop taking it cold turkey. I didn't really have any withdrawals from it, thankfully. Now I'm too scared to try any other meds LOL

well i had a bottle of Zinfandel in stock , so my mood although now 7 out of 10 will crash and burn tomorrow,

It is so individual. I have probably tried every one out there at one point over the years. I find that they stop working over time and so I have to shuffle the deck again. Currently taking mirtazapine at night and escitalopram in the am. I have been afraid to stop the mirtazapine because of how it helps me sleep.

Mirtazapine definitely helped me.sleep but that was all really and it increased my body fat levels so I stopped it but i feel worse than before I started it tbh

For 17 years I was on paroxetine, but it stopped working. It took a long time to find help. Now I'm on sertraline and augmenting it with gabapentin. It's only been 4 weeks on sertraline and a few days on gabapentin, but it feels like I've made some progress.

Hi, I have been on lots of different anti depressants for 28 years. When they stop working I have to taper off while trying the new one. Going Cold Turkey is not a good idea. Out of all I prefer Duloxetine but it stopped working after 8years so went on Mirtazapine. Trouble is I have piled the weight on which happens with Mirtazapine. Good luck xx
