chronic pain and depression
does anyone get really depressed every so often with the same pains everyday or a flare up? I try really hard not to complain and keep a positive attitude. I am on an antidepressant which usually keeps depression episodes shorter and helps me sleep. I like to be positive and hate myself when I am stuck

Is anyone taking
antidepressants
while on prednisone? I’m currently on 9 mg I’ve been on them at various times, but not since I got PMR/GCA. Everything seems to be piling up and I’m having difficulty. I have a therapist, we do phone calls, she’s in Florida and I’m in California.

I'm struggling
I've had my
antidepressants
dose increased recently and about to start cbt. I just need to talk to someone who has had a similar experience and understands how I am feeling. I feel like a total different person too, even down to taste changes. The Fatigue is so so awful.

Anyone dealt with Antidepressants stopped working?
I've been taking 150 mg of sertraline for at least 5 years now and it was making a world of difference until the last few months. My depression is bad and feels like it going to get as bad as before I started taking sertraline. Has anyone else had this experience? I know I need to see my Dr. And I

Can anybody help with results?
Hello everyone, I wondered whether anybody may be able to help with my latest blood test results? I gained a lot of weight last year - was unsure whether this was due to taking an antidepressant so came off. Weight has been difficult to lose. I’ve recently been suffering with a gastritis type illness

Women are not taken seriously by most doctors when experiencing health problems.
I was already on
antidepressants
, and had been for many years. He told me to stop taking them, and then after two weeks, he would prescribe a different one! I always thought you had to wean off them gradually, or titrate with a new one.

For context, he is 30, and has taken
antidepressants
for many years without any increase in symptoms. He has also been taking amipiprazole for over 6 weeks without any issues, and this has actually improved his mental health.

Bipolar Depression
I have tried 4 different
antidepressants
and they just started me on Latuda...It's supposed to work for bipolar depression, but I have no hope. Does bipolar depression ever end? I can't even distract myself from it because nothing is enjoyable.

Don’t want to be alive, can’t be dead.
I have been on a variety of
antidepressants
for more than a year without any relief. I am on an extended leave from work because I can’t face people. I can’t check into an inpatient program because there is genuinely no one else to support my children.

Ropinerol withdrawal.... what now?
So after 15 years I'm off Requip. I'm now 4 days in with zero meds for RLS. A few contradictions of how long it takes to fully leave your system, however, I was hoping that my RLS would magically disappear along with my meds. Unfortunately, thats not been the case. Cannabis didn't help, it just left

A suggestion that is working well, for me at least. AT least for now.
I think RLS can have several triggers, as well as several things that help. Sometimes it changes and what worked often does not neccessarily work each time. It may work again, but in the meantime, you need something else. Certainly avoiding foods or substances that bother and trigger the RLS, is a

Having a hard time lately
I called my doctor today to increase my dose of
antidepressants
, and I've got therapy Wednesday. I'm going to make a plan in case I get worse, but for now I'll just keep going.

Antidepressant question
I am currently on 2.5 mg Lexapro. Its great and takes the edge off. However, I did have some panic attacks and my doc mentioned 5 mg might be a better standard low dose. I want to take 5 mg but I am scared of serotonin syndrome or any side effects with increasing dose. Any advise? I have taken lexapro

She won’t take
antidepressants
(although is taking a very low dose of something, she says) but is not under any doctor or therapist not that that’s easy in the Uk.
