Long QT anyone?
Around 2016/17 I was informed by my doctor that I was showing signs of Prolonged QT and it was believed this was due to the
antidepressants
I was taking at the time so I came off them. My QT went back down after I finished getting the drug out of my system.

antidepressants and liver disease
I have severe liver fibrosis and have had to start taking Escitalopram for depression. My doctor has put me on 15mg but instructions and websites say patients with liver disease should be on no more than 10mg. Anyone else taking this dose or higher which has been approved by your consultant please?

Side effects of antidepressants
Can the side effects last for a long time - like 4 weeks. When does the antidepressant actually start to work and do the side effects disappear?

mom in icu, opened eyes and was showing signs of consciousness, but now cant open eyes and wont respond
Long story short my mom has been in the ICU for pneumonia for 2 weeks about, recently a couple of days ago she opened her eyes and was able to respond to us using blinking. She could not move but was moving her lips and wiggling her eyeballs a little. the doctors have stopped sedating her with fentanyl

Hello- I am a 10 year IBS-D sufferer. It worsened over the past two years as i went through the loss of my husband of 40 years to a rare cancer. The IBS gut-brain axis is real as my anxious mind can attest to. My IBS started after an 8 month round of chemotherapy for an early blood cancer. I've

habituation
Hi all, just wondering how long it took people to habituate to their T? I have had it 9 months next week. Sudden onset, no hearing loss. It’s 24/7 and sounds like whistling white noise. I have had a terrible Christmas because of the anxiety it causes. I find I can’t relax in my own home even. Sadly,

looking for advice on potential endometriosis
They just tell me to lose weight and try to give me
antidepressants
. I had the pill once you take all the time but my hair fell out. I had the coil but I got an infection. I don’t know what else I can do. I’m at my wits end.

Depression, brain repair
Nazeer pointed out that research into using psychedelics as
antidepressants
is not new, he did think the study paves the way for more research.

Time to come off Ropinerole 4 years after being on Pramepexole 7 years. What else can I try????
I hate to put chemicals in my body after years of using
antidepressants
and I always thought I'd never get off RLS medication but I'm frightened to try coming off them in case I get no sleep at all?? . What else is going to help me better than those meds?

First DEXA shows osteopenia - hoping for some advice please
Hello everyone, this is my first post to Bone Health, but I have posted to other Healthunlocked forums recently as I’m trying to work through my various health issues. I’m in the UK and hoping to get some advice from those more experienced than me please. I paid privately for my first DEXA scan in April

I know I have to take them, earlier this year we studied about
antidepressants
and know somewhat well how they work and what to expect, but I am still nervous/afraid about finally starting treatment. Any info or experience would help :) thanks in advance 🙏

Has anyone experienced insomnia with Provera?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experienced insomnia with provera. If yes, then please let me know how you've dealt with this condition. I have endometriosis and have been on provera for over two decades and have had severe insomnia. I was only left with 2/3 hours of sleep at night. But when I started

Has anyone had a bad experience with Zoloft? Side Effects?
This is the 4th antidepressant I will be trying as I have agoraphobia as well. I'm wondering what, if any, side effects people have had. Weight gain? Nausea? etc. Any info is appreciated as I'm super skeptical about starting something new during the holiday season!
