My psychiatrist suspects I have bipolar disorder because I had a psychotic episode that lasted for about a week that she thinks was mania with psychotic features.
I was then stable for about 3 months, but then became depressed and am going on being depressed for 7 months now. I have tried 4 different antidepressants and they just started me on Latuda...It's supposed to work for bipolar depression, but I have no hope.
Does bipolar depression ever end? I can't even distract myself from it because nothing is enjoyable.

hi there. I’m bipolar and I have manic and depressive episodes. They tend to be longer than normal in nature, and I tried many things on my first major one medicine wise, and I ended up having lithium help me. Lithium could be really hard on the kidney so so I was switched in 2022 to some other things and basically my depression has been held under wraps but they’re still tough days but not continuous ones like I had for for a while from 2010 to 2012.
Not sure about the psychotic side but yes keep searching and you will find
