SNRIs for fibro treatment
I've discovered that taking a SNRI interferes with the effectiveness of a SSRI. I have been taking a SSRI 50 mg (antidepressant) for manic depression (now known as bipolar) for over 30 years. It keeps me sane. My doctor recently prescribed 4 mg of Amitripiliyn for insomnia. It didn't do anything for

Is it time to resume medication
I had a significant panic episode after not having any (of this degree) for several years. I had weaned off my antidepressant as I was doing well and just used a (very) occasional benzo - usually if I was flying somewhere. Now since last week and things are settling down, I’m feeling my mood is becoming

New member seeking to connect with others who understand what it's like living with major depression and anxiety.
I'm also on a number of different
antidepressants
, and I've tried just about everything at one time or another. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to survive my husband going out of town for a day -- I detest being by myself.

Severe depression
Feeling very insecure and fearful in the last 1 week or so.. New antidepressant started 10 days ago. Can someone relate to this... or does anyone feel that way ? especially because of the Solar Eclipse that is about to happen in a day or two

Buprenorphine and TMS
I have been taking Buprenorphine. 5mg for about 3 months with good control about 30 minutes after taking it. I usually take it at 10. I’ll start getting some RLS symptom around 8 if I am not moving around. I don’t want to take the Bup warlier because it knocks me out and I have thing I need to do before

Medication experiences
I am finding that
antidepressants
only work for a while and maybe even cause an increase in anxiety/nervousness, aggression and impulse control issues. I am wondering if getting off of an antidepressant and adding Seroquel to the Lamotrigine may be a better fit. What has been your experience?

Sertraline for mTBI
My neurologist just said there's a paper which found that sertraline can be helpful for improving the cognitive side post mTBI. I don't know the details, but my GP has put me on it (starting at half a tablet first as I reacted badly to it years ago - woke up with my first panic attack and nausea all

Starting an antidepressant
I have been feeling horrible for over 70 days now since I found my ex who broke up with me last year has a boyfriend. Long story but I just started taking Pristiq. I have a long history of depression and anxiety and I have never been good about taking my meds. I was wondering if anyone had a good experience

Depression
I am really struggling with depression. I am antidepressant resistent. I have tried everything. Tried ECT and magnetic therapy. Had 32 trans magnetic stimulation txs Mon-Fri in Oct and Nov. I know I will hang in there. I hang in there and then I go into a deep depression when it gets harder and harder

changing from sifrol
I’m about to make an appointment with my sleep specialist . At present I am on .15 daily sifrol - I understand .5 is recommended as highest daily dose. This dose was prescribed by a neurologist who thought 1.5 was fine in fact I could increase it if needed. He mostly works with Parkinson’s patients

best treatment for stress induced fibromyalgia with RA ?
looking at taking some meds, doc has suggested sertraline
antidepressants
, but I am not sure they are more a long term thing. amytriptyline seems to be used but it looks like a complicated drug with side effects..anyone got any experience with these drugs.

Enough with the ADHD!
I’m FINALLY trying a series of
antidepressants
, but none seem to agree with my brain (or, I wonder if they react with the ADHD meds). Honestly, I don’t care about treating the ADHD. I’ve lived with it for decades. It’s part of who I am.
