Blood test results
I should have had this blood test done 3 months ago but i was put on a weeks course of
antibiotics
for a tooth infection. I then had Vertigo so there were 2 or 3 weeks where all i took was the Levothyroxine as i was too ill to think. I'd appreciate any advice, thanks 😊

Hello
Whilst in hospital I had 2 serious infections and a reaction to the
antibiotics
they gave me which resulted in my skin peeling off. I came out of hospital determined to move forward.

So have been on

Took some pain relief which worked so didn’t 999 (to be honest stupid as it sounds I was actually to scared as I knew which hospital I’d end up in and hate the place and find them patronising and somewhat incompetent as I’ve mentioned previously My throat just got worse and worse pain wise despite

Recently Diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa
Hi all! Was wondering if anyone else who has chronic kidney disease has been diagnosed with this? It’s truly awful and something else that never goes away and is worrisome. I’m in stage 3B currently and things seem to be going bad quickly here lately. This is another battle for me that will have to

Headed to my PCP tomorrow to rule out Gyn involvement and
antibiotics
prescribed by my Hematologist have not reduced the node. So weird and so ready to just have this one excised if need be.

Constant oral thrush on Fostair
Usually Nystatin works but this time (after finishing
antibiotics
) it’s not budging. GP suggested different inhalers (dry powder) but both contained lactose & I am allergic to milk. I’m at a loss what to do to stop it continually happening. Can anyone suggest anything please that might help?

3 1/2 Years after Proton radiation I’m experiencing new side effects. Anyone have similar issues and if so any diagnosis or remedies?
Urologist has tested for bladder infection 3 times, all negative and prescribed
antibiotics
which have had no noticeable effect. Two CT scans have not shown any issues leaving Urologist perplexed. Has anyone else experienced similar issues after Radiation and if so found any cause or relief?

Doxycycline antibiotic inhibits dopaminergic neurodegeneration through upregulation of axonal and synaptic proteins
https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00210-023-02435-3 Doxycycline (DOX) is a widely used antibiotic that is able to cross the blood–brain barrier. Several studies have shown its neuroprotective effect against neurodegeneration and have associated it with antioxidant, anti-apoptotic, and anti-inflammatory

I think doctors should either provide an injection of it, or try
antibiotics
, or immune boosters. IMO, BXO was just waiting for me when having a lowered immune system, but had that not been the case, I likely wouldn't have known about this site or the term BXO.

Black sputum/phlegm/mucus
It comes and goes every few months or so and only stays for a few days max - I’m usually put back on
antibiotics
but it always comes back eventually. Is it worth going back to the GP for what feels like the thousandth time or is it most likely harmless and just something strange with my lungs?
