Ibs advice

Hi I'm new hear so doctor says I have ibs I don't think I believe it but anyways iv been having bowel changes for few months now this all started last year I had inchty anus on and off had 2 stool test found infection or something had 2 courses of antibiotics then had scan July this year they found one cyst on my right ovrains with little fluid have hopstail in December 12th then iv gone back to doctors as my inchty anus has returned doctors don't want to no they keep fobbing me she giving me an fungal cream witch I'm not applying because the inch is in side she says I can only apply on the skin? Any advice would be great this is effecting my life really badly I'm only 30 she has done bloods I'm lacking vitamin d and done fit test that came back no further test any advice would be great

Hi, do you have piles? They can cause itching both outside and inside. It may be that, if not then I don't know what else to suggest. Good luck I hope you find an answer though 👍

Hi doctor has checked me down there twice and nothing so have no clue what itis I hope I get answers soon

Give your Doc the benefit of the doubt and go on the Monash Fodmap diet and see what happens. Cut way down on sugar...

Attrition is the key word when dealing with GPs.Go on line and look at ailments with similar symptoms of IBS. Go through each of the ailments and log the symptoms. Tick the symptoms that apply to you. This might highlight other things that the GP wrongly put down to IBS.

Keep a diary whith dates and times. Log what goes in (food) and what comes out (shit) using the stool chart.

When you have collected the evidence go back to the GP and present your evidence. Go back again, again, again until they finally take notice. ATTRITION

Hi yes iv been writing down everything I'm giving it till Monday and inchty anus is not normal when I mean inchyy before and after bowel movement the only thing to sooth this at the moment is washing my bottom with warm water and hair drying my anus and thrn applying this oimeant cream but that's for piles and even still that doesn't taken the whole incthing away but I don't no how much more of this I can take emotionally x

I suffer with this sometimes it's awful. Have you looked at pruritus ani? Unfortunately there's not much that relives it the Dr gave me steriod cream which does ease it but can't use that to often. Sorry I cant be more helpful 😔

Hi doctors have checked twice said I haven't even got piles but first they said it's to do with constipation and now saying its because the poo is soft second day I did wanna ask iv been taken bio kult can this bring any of them on

Just a update iv called hopstail thankfully they have moved my appointment closer to the 5th of December as I can't wait any longer so hopefully hopstail will look more into this hopfully it's something as simple as infection I'm hoping but not gonna count my chickens lol
