has anyone taken this? Im terrified after reading reviews online.. i was prescribed cipro for sibo and now after researching the thought of taking it makes me feel ill…
I dont know if its just me being dramatic but i dont know what to do! The side effects.. the ‘floxing’ is just scaring me!

^You might want to join this group. Many have warned to stay clear from cipro. I would never touch it.
Cipro comes under the category of antibiotics this doctor mentions
The normal treatment for SIBO is rifaxamin, sometimes followed by a second antibiotic, whose name I can't remember, but it is not copra. Check with a gastroenterologist or get a second opinion. Cipro is not the standard treatment as far as I know.
I've taken it for a UTI. Glad to say I got lucky with no side effects. Everyone is different.
Had cipro a number of times for really bad prostate and kidney infections and not experienced bad side effects. Read about them but infections so bad I'll take anything.
This is the only antibiotic that Gary has tried. Gary has not had any side effects, but his doctor said that this is not a long term treatment and we are trying to find another antibiotic that is not too expensive and is effective because his SIBO went undiagnosed for over 30 years, so he will probably be on a life long antibiotics.
Hello Bamboo, i finished a course last week & like you i dread & detest abtibiotics🥺🥺, i became very...sick half way through even with taking priobotics 2 hrs b4 & only one tablet instead of 2Ive been to the GP am now awaiting some more...testsDONT BE WORRYING!
