Update after consultation w/Royal Marsden
I'm not naive enough to believe that a steroid or
antibiotics
will put the beast back in the box long-term. But I'd been told that there was basically one more can left to kick, down an increasingly shortening road.

How to confirm I have endometriosis?
After a number of tests including CA 125 and series of Ultrasound and
antibiotics
, the doctors diagnosed that I have endometriosis and straight away suggested that I should go for surgery and get my both ovaries removed for which I am not ready at all.

Inhalers.......
He also has a mouth \tooth infection but would not take the prescribed
antibiotics
as he was not allowed to drink alcohol when on them. I am starting to wonder if maybe this has spread to his lungs as for the last 24 hours the coughing has been quite bad.

React/allergy certain
antibiotics
. I do have ulcerative colitis of many years standing but well controlled. Would appreciate others experiences .. how they have felt on taking Hydrea.. I know it’s an individual body response too. I know it’s vanity too… but hair loss? Skin and nail?

PMR resurgence
I’ve just finished a course of
antibiotics
for a bladder infection so am going for a fresh set of bloods, urine and poo today to try to establish if PMR has returned. It certainly feels like it! Since completing a 950km bike ride in France over 11 days I have been absolutely floored.

Naughty tooth delays ASD procedure
Thanks to a post on
antibiotics
for dental procedures I got off my a** and booked a dentist appointment to replace one cancelled in order to see a cardiologist. It turns out that my “gum boil” is likely to be a chronic infection due to a dead tooth.

Any advice or thoughts appreciated! Trying to keep cirrhosis in check despite hospitalization for very serious pneumonia
After one week they still didn’t know what I had exactly, but that it was pneumonia and they started IV
antibiotics
. After another week and a half they discovered it is a very rare fungal infection. I have an abscess in my right lung bigger than a man’s fist.

Infections Post Circumcision, reswelling
I had a Circumcision on 13th Jan 24 and everything went well, the would was also healing very quickly, swelling came down to almost normal. but on 22nd I noticed that there is some which thick deposition under the gals and near the frenulum part of stitches. First I thought it was the cream deposition

Possible IBD?
During that period I was on a range of
antibiotics
which led to a bout of C Difficile (and then more and more
antibiotics
to resolve). I’ve always suffered with IBS-D but this was exacerbated since all the
antibiotics
and the doctor suggested it was post-infectious ibs.

Antibiotics? With or against immune system?
We've all had
antibiotics
for one reason or another but do they work alongside the immune system to give it a little helping hand or are they completely independent? So, given to someone with a weakened immune system should that patient be given a slightly higher dose, or longer course?

Thrush 3 days before FET
Hi everyone, I am booked for a natural FET on Monday (I didn't take anything this cycle, not even progesterone) and the Friday before I discovered that my discharge looked like cottage cheese and I may be getting thrush. Which I haven't had in years! Has this happened to anyone else before their FET
