Could be some positivity for frequent UTI sufferers.
So for the last 14 months when my attempts at tapering the Prednisolone have been hampered by these constant UTI infections, not to mention feeling constantly unwell all that time by the symptoms, nausea, being unable to eat, low sodium effects, etc. my previous GP continued to prescribe only 3 days
antibiotics

Need advice on getting diagnosis
She went to the doctor and was prescribed
antibiotics
for a possible urinary tract infection. The medicine did not help at all. By January 2024, her symptoms had worsened and included: pain in the lower back, pain in her legs, tingling in her feet, pain in her abdomen, and etc.

Any advice?
I know the NHS is struggling, but the last year I have been passed from pillar to post, had one Dr give me pred, another
antibiotics
, back and to, over and over. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Moving from the pred to
antibiotics
has kicked my butt - knackered and really achey... Still coughing lots, not getting much up.

So again I’m waiting for doctor to ring and desperately needing my
antibiotics
and more steriods. This is the longest I’ve had to wait and I’m quite annoyed as they have my notes they know my history if they read just a small amount. To top it off I’ve got no heating or hot water .

What causes autoimmune diseases?
In particular, he focuses on: food quality, water quality, gluten, leaky gut, infections,
antibiotics
, nutrition, excessive hygiene (what daily showers do the immune system!), vaccines, stress etc etc.

chronic gastritis diagnosis
I had h-pylori which I finally got rid of after three lots of
antibiotics
last year. In June this year found out I have mild chronic gastritis after a endoscopy.

IV-ICD Lead failure follow up and advice on reducing infection risk #chinkoflight
There are a whole host of catheter lab hygiene and
antibiotics
recommendations too which I can't comment on, except to say my observation was of staff coming in and out of the lab between patients without re-gowning etc. So I think this was potentially a weak area.

Crohns and dental implants
Now one of his own teeth has an ulcer that has not responded to
antibiotics
. The dentist is making noises about a possible Crohns connection. My husband was on Humira for 3 years a few years ago but is not taking any medication now. Any help or opinions welcome.

Relapse plus UTI
In the months since then have been plagued with constant colds etc (now over all that, finally got
antibiotics
to knock it all on the head), but that seems to have been very common in this country ( NZ) after Covid, and all the isolation etc. Our immunity is very low.

Very fast onset of Pneumonia! It’s a long story; are you comfortable…
sepsis) Got to Resus and the medical staff immediately filled him with
antibiotics
, fluids and just about everything else I think! Turns out it was pneumococcal pneumonia. He came home a couple of days ago with doctors orders to rest for 6 weeks.

Sick day rules after having IV cortisol?
I have had IV
antibiotics
as they found raised infection levels as well as a saline drip. They are repeating bloods tomorrow. At the minute I am on 9.5mg from 10mg which was by DL slow taper. Just put me on oxygen as my oxygen levels are low at 92. Normal is 99.

Chest Infection and Adrenal Insufficiency
Was put on
antibiotics
, but had an Asthma Exacerbation anyway so attended again as home nebulisers weren't enough. So asked if I should add Prednisolone on top of my Hydrocortisone. No one knows the answer. And I don't know what to do.

Ding Ding…Round Three.
More surgery and three months of IV
antibiotics
put me back on track again. I’d lost most of my sight and that took a year or so to return….it’s pretty good now, good enough to drive again…hooray. Never thought I’d miss traffic jams.

Am I on enough thyroid medication for my weight
am nutritionally aware and consider I am only alive today because I did not take any drugs for the Lupus etc. as I couldn't I was allergic to everything due to the low thyroid hormone causing the metabolism (liver) to run slow and not allow drugs to clear quickly enough so was going toxic - even on

antibiotics
. Some paracetamol. Still not actually spoken to a Doctor. I'm exhausted from lack of sleep and being sore. Sorry it's not better news.
