Antacid for excessive mucus/saliva/sputum
Hi all, I keep seeing the excessive mucus /saliva / sputum causing choking symptom on this site. I hope what worked for my dad might work for someone else. My dad had this problem a couple of years ago and the doctor had x-rays taken a couple of times thinking it might be pneumonia which it wasn't. I

Why do you stop both wheat AND dairy for autoimmune issues?
Nor do
antacids
. In short, nothing was helping except mint tea. I put it down to some kind of gastritis caused by eating dark chocolate (my gut's not a fan!) and took chocolate out my diet, with no success - the pain has persisted.

Is this Prostap doing this?
I have been drinking loads of water along with peppermint tea to make sure I'm hydrated and have tried some
antacids
but nothing is making a difference. It's really starting to get me down, I just wondered if anybody else had experienced this when on prostap? Many thanks in advance :) xx

More on Magnesium
My AF seems less frequent in the summer. Maybe it is because I get more sun exposure and thus more vitamin D. The comment on tea could be of interest to tea drinkers. I found this information on the website below. Hopefully, this info has not already been posted. http://drmyhill.co.uk/wiki/Magnesium

Radiotherapy Roulette Update
Hi everyone, just an update on the latest treatment. I thought after 7 or 8 spins of radiotherapy this was going to be easy, but I was too quick. I didn't get any skin burn or rashes, but as the wheel spun round more doses I started to get really tired. Not the total wiped out feeling that I've had from

Antacids

I went to see a nutritionist as soon as I was diagnosed with PA, the first thing she told me to do was to stop taking any
antacids
, I did take a few Rennies etc, but not an awful lot.

GERD and it's consequences
Four quadrant biopsies every 2 cm are performed along the Barrett's segment according to the Seattle protocol.[21,22] If Barrett's oesophagus is not present, the symptoms may be managed with medical therapy alone (proton pump inhibitors, H2 blockers,
antacids
and antireflux precautions, etc.).

Questions on dosing NDT
Wow, what a roller coaster. I was diagnosed with Hashi's 6 years ago. I finally found a doctor to prescribe me NDT and as of 4 months ago I was feeling well! Unfortunately, I've had a chronic cough that nobody could figure out and I was exploring the idea that the cough could be due to acid reflux

One Lousy Antacid
I'm laying here and my legs are going crazy but thankfully not my body. I figured it was something I ate or the amount or timing...rather late evening. I thought I'll just wait it out eventually the food will digest. Then I remembered I took a Zantac antacid before my Mexican dinner. I'm not waiting

Anxiety is consuming me
I thought that perhaps this was GERD, since the stomach gets stressed due to anxiety and it causes digestive problems and stuff and my brother (who is a nurse) assured me that it probably wouldn't make me sick; I'd get
antacids
and it should be fine.

B12 symptoms but test results show as fine
Hi all I'm sure i'm not the first to say this, but as the title reads I believe I have many of the symptoms of a B12 deficiency, but very recent tests suggest otherwise. A few weeks ago I felt totally drained of energy, had a tingle sensation in my left arm and hand and a foggy head. Realising I've
