Can I ask what antacids people use when on Methotrexate? Dr Google says no to omeprazole, it’s just for mild heartburn. Thankyou

Asthma, GERD, confusion

I've had antacids from Drs years ago but not taken in years. This year I've been focusing on eating healthier could a change in diet affect acid reflux? What do I do to manage it or settle it dow . Got a Dr appointment in 2 weeks time but really don't think I can function on no sleep til then.

Acupuncture for undiagnosed/silent reflux?

Dr has now given me Famotidine 40g twice a day but see they are also antacids and I’m not convinced I have high acid. If anything I feel it could be low acid. I am looking to pay to see someone but not sure who- ENT or Gastro.

Iron at night following meds?

I have been reading and I know that calcium and certain meds like antacids will interfere with the absorption of iron but I don’t know about pregabalin. I am also taking low doses of clonazepam (1/4 mg now) and ropinerole (1/4 mg) but am continuing to taper off of those.

Reflux and IBS

Been on other antacids and herbs like DGL, Slippery Elm, ZincC etc. only helps periodically. I’ve also used L glutamine but two nights ago I took 1.5 teaspoons and it really helped the reflux. However experienced anxiety and migraines for the entire night . So my sleep is being depleted.

Reactions to Antibiotics and unable to treat UTI/Prostatitis

I developed very bad stomach problems from April to August 2022, which I used lots of antacids, I wasn't eating much, and my diet was B12 deficient. I suspect that my B12 levels from Feb to late summer had dropped a lot. I do not have PA but I would really like your help, please.

Gut issues from Vitamin D3 Ampoule Uvedose?

Hi all, Replying to everyone who has been helping me about the 100,000 Uvedose of Vitamin D3. Seems it is popular in France. My level in the US is usually under 30 which is the lowest you should have and the last time it was 30 in midwinter so it doesn't make a lot of sense to me regarding sunshine.

heartburn/acid reflux - help!

Sorry to be a nuisance - I know I keep asking questions but scared of doing anything that is going to aggravate my AF. I also suffer acid reflux but haven't been bothered with it for a while so forgot to mention it to hospital. For the last 2 days have been getting the old burn up in my throat again

Acid reflux/heartburn

I suffered with odd bouts of Acid Reflux about ten years ago and took antacids and Nexium after a heavy evening meal. I believe I have had silent reflux for the past few years.

Changing Psychiatrists-WOW

My long term psychiatrist is retiring in June. I started the search asap as we had been in each others lives for 25 years. He is genuinely one of the kindest doctors I've ever met. Replacing him will be difficult. He was willing to work with my other providers on physical issues and the right treatment

Difficulty swallowing liquids only

It's been going on for about a week and a half now that started out of nowhere. I take a sip of liquid be it water or coffee or beer and I have to hold the liquid on my tongue to "wait" until the sensation to swallow kicks in. It's a slight hesitation due to a lack of sense of initiation. Just a second
