GP does not do loading dose as per BNF guidelines due to pressure on appointment availability !1
Hi all, Finally had a reply from my letter to GP questioning why my loading dose of 6 jabs was over 6 weeks, not 2 weeks as per guidelines. ( I enclosed copies of EVERY treatment protocol ) and reminded him I had tested positive for IFA antibodies and Parietal Antibodies, and had neuro symptoms even

I'm hypothyroid and taking 125 microgram levothyroxine daily. I definitely have gut issues- reflux, cannot eat meat or bread etc and have started supplementing with a "Super B complex plus folic acid" capsule that contains all the B vitamins. The quantity of B12 is 50micrograms daily. Can anybody advise

I haven't been on this forum for a while and I'm agreably surprised each time by the seriousness and expertise of the answers given to us sufferers from thyroid problems. Myself after many years of digestive probles, painful auto-immune arthritis and Hashimoto's disease I finally decided 3 months ago

Supporting stress
Hi All, Just wanted to put something out there for those of you who are under stress, in case it helps, even a little. When we respond to stress, our bodies use up more magnesium and B vitamins, and Vitamin C than normal. When stress is chronic, it can be really easy to run low on these nutrients.

Co factors blood test
I'll be going for my annual thyroid blood test (I was over active a few years ago) and will ask my gp to also test folate, ferritin, potassium (which was slightly below range last year) and vitamin D. I supplement folate (or a vitamin B complex) and Vitamin D (in winter) on a daily basis. I eat as much

Pernicious Anemia.. Injections and Patches is it safe?
Need a bit of information about transdermal b12 patches? I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anemia last year.... by a Student doctor! It took around 6 years for the doctors to tell me what all the random pains I was having and nerve issues. My levels of b12 dropped below the normal threshold between 2009

Pain while taking vitamin b complex
Hi, has anyone else suffered with severe abdominal pain whilst taking b complex? It doesn't happen everyday, probably 5 times in 30 days. It starts in my tummy and goes up to my chest and lasts about 10 minutes but makes me feel really rough all day.

Vitamin B 17
Did anyone hear about vitamin B 17 ? It's an alternative medication for cancer it kills the cancer cells or if we don't have cancer cells Vitamin B17, also called amygdalin or laetrile, is a glycoside nutrient linked with cancer prevention in alternative medicine practices — and there are anecdotal

Burning feet
Sorry, this is a repeat, but peripheral neuropathy has been a popular topic recently. I get some relief from Metanx, a prescription medical food based on B vitamins and folate. You can Google it. NOT addictive and has medical research.
