Gastric atrophy ??
Now as I’m still new and trying to learn please may you add to my knowledge and correct anything I have misunderstood. I had a positive coeliac blood test, I’m not doing the gluten challenge and biopsy because this has gone on for over 20 years and I’ve put up. So now I have started ferrous fumarate

Safe to supplement on b vitamins while treating b12 deficiency?
Would it be advised to supplement on additional b vitamins (ex. Thorne Research- basic b-complex) to support b12 supplementation for neural repair? I realize it can be a fine line, especially with folate and b6. However wondering if anyone has knowledge as to whether it may be a good idea. Thx!

Conversion improved massively - adding more T4 and removing some T3
Hi everyone, I have recently seen a tremendous improvement in conversion - when I first started on levo I had a levo at top of range on 75mcg and a t3 just in range and I was struggling to eat and very underweight. The last few months I have been supplementing b12, vit d, having some b vitamins every

Living with AF?
Hello all! This seems like a great forum! All new to me and at 57 am recovering from a cerebellum stroke and waiting to see cardiologist at end of September. I just wonder how everyone ‘lives’ with prescribed AF? Do you exercise or relax? Do you monitor heartbeat and respond accordingly? A little unclear

Ongoing TB treatment - weight loss, headache and numbness
Has anyone here continue to lose weight (like 1-2 kgs) even on TB treatment already for 2 months or more? I've been asymptomatic ever since. Only weight loss is the evident sign. I just knew that I have TB during an annual checkup (xray). Also, been feeling a bad headache everyday like there's a tight

Supplements and anxiety
Does anyone have experience adding supplements into their routine? My doctor recommended I start taking L-glutamine, Turmeric, Magnesium, Vitamin B and a probiotic. I currently am on anxiety med (sertraline) and thyroid medicine (levothyroxine). I've been taking the supplements for almost a week now

High Dose of B vitamins (B1, B2, B3 and B5) in Parkinson Disease
Hi everyone. Reading about the B1 therapy of Doc Constantini also on this forum, I ask myself (and to everybody) if the others B vitamins (in addition to B1), involved in Krebs Cycle (see pic - vit. B1, B2, B3 and B5) may have a similar/sinergic effect on Parkinson Disease. Any ideas/info/experience

HRT & Supplements
Hi I’ve been on HRT for a month now (oestrogen gel and progesterone tablets). I’m also taking Levo and T3. I’m slowly easing back in my supplements as I wanted to start the HRT on its own. I’m now back on vitamin B complex and vitamin D but I want to add in magnesium. However I’m not sure if it’s

Urine Therapy cure Restless Leg Syndrome
I had RLS many years. Not so severe. But in 2020y things worsened. I couldn't sleep nearly every night, and in the morning was completely run out. Tried to cure myself with supplements like magnesium and iron. I drunk vitamin d and all b vitamins. Unfortunately nothing helped me. Through the past years

stop iron and anti depressant before blood draw for hypothyroidism?
Hello again to all you helpful souls at H.U., I'm due for a thyroid test again soon. I'm aware that I need to stop Vitamin B complex 7 days before. What about iron? I also take Vitamin D and K2. I've also started taking an anti depressant, 5 days ago. Should I stop that too before blood draw? Thank you

Does eating a diet rich in Vitamin B Complex slows down the progression of AMN?
What I understand is that eating foods rich in Vitamin B complex are good for the brain and the nervous system. I eat a low-fat healthy diet with a lot of red meat. Red meat has Vitamin B12. Here is more information about Vitamin B Complex and their benefits: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles

Experiences of amphotericin?
Hi. Jacmidlands over on the BLF forum replied to a post about my 12 yo daughter pointing me in this direction, and I’m hoping some of you can help. She has fairly severe cystic fibrosis, and we’re unfortunately very familiar with bacterial infection as a result, but fungal issues are relatively new.

Experiences of amphotericin?
Small person is off to 5* on Friday for her fortnight of the ‘good stuff’, a little earlier than planned although mostly ok overall, but with the addition of amphotericin alongside IV colomycin and piptaz. I’ll post a proper update soonish, as there’s been quite a bit going on even with lockdown happening
