Chronic Hep B in an LTR.

Hi everyone. It's great to be here and learning by reading through.

My specific question is that now my partner and I are both dealing with chronic Hep B. My partner having showed symptoms of infection and I did not, hence me getting tested and finding out I'm positive also, with a high viral load, without showing any symptoms whatsoever. With an initial Fibroscan result of 7.2 and an Ultrasound result not picking up anything. Although, I'm just about to start medication to control and hopefully limit any long-term damage being caused.

Is it safe for us to carry on having unprotected intimacy between us both and that we can't do any more damage by doing so... ie, reinfecting each other? I've looked around online and not found info where both individuals in a relationships already know they are infected. It mostly goes on about the none infecting of a negative partner.
