Help with vitamin levels - Blood test results
hi all, just had my blood results back and feeling a bit disappointed that my vitamin levels seem to have all gone down (with the exception of vitamin D). Also despite my GP requesting T3 this wasn't done by the labs. Should i get this done separately now for my own records or wait till my next bloods

Just exhausted....
Hi all. Does anyone relate? I am just soooo tired all of the time. It doesn’t matter how long I sleep for, it isn’t enough! I went to bed at 8.30 pm and woke at 10am and this is common for me but sometimes I sleep even longer. I am out of bed for no longer than half an hour and I need to go back to sleep

Does IP6 Have New Support from A Mayo Physician Report?
Some prostate cancer patients are interested in natural supplements, especially IP6. Here is an abstract of a case report of a melanoma patient achieving a complete remission without traditional oncology from a Mayo Clinic physician (Jacksonville) and two colleagues.. "Inositol hexaphosphate plus inositol

On a light note
I've just started my Vitamin B super complex supplements in the hope that optimum vitamin and folate levels improve my thyroid issues. Why do supplements have to smell and taste so vile. I'm gagging at the smell as soon as the lids off, swallow the tablet and gag on that repeat taste. Boy oh boy these

Vitamins?
Hi fountains of much acquired wisdom, My RA is fairly stable at the moment and I am only on 10mg Methotrexate Weekly. A podiatrist recently commented on my very thin toe nails and recommended Vitamin B. I looked into it and others say Vitamin C. I take a Vitamin D every day and mega fish oil pills

Hi I’m new to this post had anyone experienced restless leg syndrome in their feet only. I keep moving my feet continually and they have pins and needles. Did anyone find out it was a vitamin B deficiency. Thank you

B complex and folic acid
Hello! Me again..! I have a question about vitamin B supplements and iron... I can't find one that contains all the B vits but doesn't contain folate or folic acid... Does that matter? I get confused on the types of iron. Do folate and folic acid 'count' as iron? 🤔 I'm so confused. 😂

Why do I need to also supplement with a folate or a Complex B vitamin when supplementing with B12?
Hi, Spent a few hours last night trying to find scientific papers/writing on the need to supplement with folate when one supplements with B12. No luck. I'm sure I haven't searched for the right terms... could anyone help me? I don't understand the concept of balancing out the B vitamins. I supplement

Gastric atrophy ??
Now as I’m still new and trying to learn please may you add to my knowledge and correct anything I have misunderstood. I had a positive coeliac blood test, I’m not doing the gluten challenge and biopsy because this has gone on for over 20 years and I’ve put up. So now I have started ferrous fumarate

Safe to supplement on b vitamins while treating b12 deficiency?
Would it be advised to supplement on additional b vitamins (ex. Thorne Research- basic b-complex) to support b12 supplementation for neural repair? I realize it can be a fine line, especially with folate and b6. However wondering if anyone has knowledge as to whether it may be a good idea. Thx!
