Pelvic Pain
I’m 33 and have recently been diagnosed with endo including recto endometriosis. I am really struggling with pelvic pain which I’ve had for years but is getting worse and just won’t go away even after the laparoscopy and removal. I really am at my wits end where it’s starting to affect my life. I wondered

Possible Nerve damage...what do I do?
Okay, so mind the long story, but I'm seriously lost. I went to get a blood draw to find out my blood allergies. A whole problem arised when the needle entered my arm, I felt immediate pain, a burning sensation, an electric shock down my arm, and weakness in the arm. It's almost 4 months down the line

Hello again, sorry for the rant that's about to happen but here goes: So I've just come back off a lovely week long holiday. Unfortunately, on Wednesday, I began spotting which I haven't done for quite a while and it took me by surprise. I am taking the contraceptive pill back to back (currently on Microgynon

Not depressed - VERY fit- but in pain?
For some reason depression is linked to Fibromyalgia, I am not depressed in fact I have a great life. I am fit and an active walker and participant in life. I have had fibromyalgia for about 12 years and take just 10mg of Amitriptyline of a night, I've managed with pain to some degree but over the years

Long term after effects of viral meningitis
I was diagnosed with VM in April 2011. So 8 years later and I still suffer from daily headaches. Some days are easier than others but I go through "spells" where the headaches get really bad for weeks at a time. I also still suffer from extreme fatigue and now have anxiety. I was on Amitriptyline for

Endo all gone after Lap but still have pain
Hi, I had surgery almost 3 months ago and it went very well - all clear of endo which is great! - but I still have the same abdominal pain and lower back pain since before surgery albeit a bit less often than before. It’s definitely more bearable now but when it hits it still affects me significantly

Chronic nausea and/or anxiety! Any help or similar situations?
Hi! I’ve been dealing with chronic nausea, occasional constipation, and most recently (last 2 months), GERD. I’ve had every lab, test, procedure and two surgeries (gallbladder removal-thought to be the cause, and diagnostic laparoscopy-to look for endometriosis). A teeny bit of endo was found but it

Back pain
Hi guys I've been experiencing back pain in my lower back, tailbone area. If I sit or lie down I really struggle to get back up without being in agony. It feels like my tailbone is pressing upwards on my spine and it starts to feel like its going to crack if I try stand up. All I did was sneeze a few

What’s going on?
I posted my latest results here last week and off the back off those I have increased my T3 dose by 5mcg to 15mcg per day. I’m struggling though. I had been having horrible feelings of pressure in my neck and head and those have gone a.most immediately I took an extra dose - yay! However, I’m now feeling

Ongoing.....
It's nearly a year since I was last assessed at my Headache Clinic. Having being told I had chronic migraine, I accepted Amitriptyline and managed to titrate up to 75mg daily. I had some very good days, even a couple of weeks without any head pain, but now, seem to be in another bad patch again

MEDICHECKS TEST KIT ARRIVED - which supps do I need to give up before testing and for how long?
Hi Everyone. This is my first private test and I really need to make this test count and get results which are as accurate as possible from it. I would be very grateful if members would have a look at the supps I am taking and advise which ones I need to stop before doing the test and for how long.

Circumcision....
Hi guys, After many years of struggling I finally had to take the plunge. It was for an urgent medical reason so my mind was made up for me. The surgery was on May 3rd. The surgeon, anaesthetist and all other staff were brilliant. Day 1 (surgery day) I had the added bonus of a cystoscopy. I got home

Will Amitriptyline worsen Tinnitus?
I have tinnitus for around 5 months, initially on my left ear and now things are getting much better and the tinnitus is reduced to some low volume background high pitch. However, I also have some family issues and cannot sleep well in the last few weeks, and the family doctor prescribe 25mg Amitriptyline

Disappointing appointment
HI All So, having had a recent nasty flare (increased preds from 2mgs - 60mgs), I was looking forward to seeing my consultant, I had not actually seen her in over a year, a supply Rheumy who wasn't interested and a registrar so was looking forward to seeing what advice she could give. But no, once again

Solving Restless Leg Syndrome
I started a treatment using Gabapentin 300 mg once daily at night. I also stopped using benadryl, amitriptyline, and caffeine beverages. I have had no problems in the pass month.

I need to say goodbye to my friend, “Goodbye Keith and warn you all about opiate painkillers.”
Firstly I would really like to thank all the lovely people that responded to my bad day post. Everybody offered really helpful and supportive advice. Although I’m extremely glad that I now believe that my anger and aggression is only a very small symptom of my brain injury, the real underlying reason
