Allergy problem with Amidoamine

I've been diagnosed as being allergic to Amidoamine (Stearic acid)

Does this mean I'm also allergic to Cocamidopropyl Betaine which is derived using Amidoamine and is in virtually all soap/shampoo/body wash products.

Cocamide DEA is out of the question as it's supposed to be a Carcinogen.

Any help appreciated.
