Donor egg & menopause advice
We were incredibly lucky to conceive naturally last year just before starting ivf - my AMH 4-5 months before conceiving had been measured at 1 pmol/l, so extremely low. We also have MFI. We’ve now been trying for 6 months with no success - I think I’m still ovulating, but who knows! Anyway, I have

ivf stims dosage - your experience
hi all, hope you’re all doing ok. ❤️ I saw a different consultant following my 2 x failed rounds where all eggs were bad quality. he was surprised that given my amh and number of follicles I was on 375ovaleap and he thinks this could be the reason for my poor response. I always responded so quickly

Valproate: new safety and educational materials to support regulatory measures in men and women under 55 years of age
I don't think there is any reason to expect many members to be taking any form of Valproate, but this is such an important issue, with such significant consequences, I've decided to post it anyway. Even if you are not taking it, someone you know might be. [i]

Laporoscopy recovery
I’ve finally had my Laporoscopy surgery. it’s something I’ve been told in the past , due to my age and low egg reserve to avoid. That it could cause Amh to lower , scarring etc I haven’t had my follow up appointment to discuss the findings in detail , this will be the 5th July. But my consultant did

Fertility preservation egg/embryo freezing
Just wondering if any has done this prior to surgery? As I know sometimes having surgery can lower your amh levels and fertility, or on the other hand can sometimes help. I would like to not just freeze eggs it’s not that successful to do it’s better to have embryos made and then frozen. Can anyone

I couldn't wait any longer, this is our second IVF round and second transfer and I've been feeling the pressure because we have male factor AND my AMH and AFC is so low despite only being in my early 30s, so time is running out for us and the chances of success for us was low. Further thyroid bloods advice needed.
Hi everyone I'm looking a check on my recent blood results. For context I am focused on improving my thyroid results and symptoms for general wellbeing and also in relation to fertility. I introduced some T3 over the past 6weeks but from bloods I can't see that it has improved my bloods too much. Symptom

Private Testing
Always ask your GP first for a particular test i.e. T3 or thyroid antibodies. If they can't do it, private testing via Thyroid UK is available from various testing companies that we work with. Thyroid UK has arranged discounts with some of them. For more information: https://thyroiduk.org/testing/private-thyroid-tests-in-the-uk
