Had my MRI two weeks ago, today I received a letter from a consultant sending me for an
AMH
test
. All it said was ' 31F with endometriosis and large bilateral endometriomas please test prior to surgical planning'. It didn't say anything else but I noticed it was requested from a new name.

43 and game over
I’ve been sent away to do an
Amh
test
and another blood test but basically told that’s it. Nothing else they can do. I feel completely lost now. They haven’t even mentioned the endometriosis investigation and I was so shocked I didn’t ask . Has anyone got any advice I don’t know what to say.

Low AMH - what next?
I have taken an
AMH
test
privately partially to put my mind at rest. They said the AMH had to be equal to or above 5.4pmol/L in order for us to qualify.

Also i read that you have to have a natural period ,to do the fsh and
AMH
test
im not sure if this is correct? . Do you think they will induce my period? And will the fsh and
amh
test
work the same way? As it would on a natural bleed? thanks!

Hysterosalpingogram - Gonna call it the 'Pingu'
Levels all looked good but they're arranging an up to date
AMH
test
as well as a Hysterosalpingogram. SO... I have read many different things online. I like to have all of the information/examples I can so that I feel prepared.

Trying to understand what happened to my embryos.
Husbands sample looking normal now but waiting on dna frag
test
. Low
amh
(1.8) maybe lower now …and 39 (nearly 40) years old. It’s hard when there’s no real explanation given. I guess egg quality is a huge factor but I can’t stop wondering.

Has anyone had a second AMH test and seen a positive increase?
But one other question I’m keen to ask and hear your experiences on is whether anyone with low
AMH
has had a second blood
test
and seen it increase? It’s something my fertility acupuncturist suggested we might want to do given my low AMH is the reason we didn’t get NHS funding.

Sudden AMH drop?
I had my first
AMH
test
in February 2022, I was 37 then, it came back as 8.5 and we were approved for the NHS funding (AMH has to be above 5.4 for that). I had my first IVF cycle this past spring, 2 embryos, 1 failed transfer, 1 miscarriage.

Wildely different AMH test scores - any thoughts why?
My
AMH
test
came back as 6.2 pmol/l. I was told this was low for my age (33) but explained by the fact i had very short (19 day) cycles and therefore my egg supply was being used up quicker - this made sense to me.

I am nearly 36 with

letrozole- no dominant follicle.
hello, I’ve just had my first round of letrozole on 2.5mg OD as I was told I have a high amh (67). Also have lean PCOS. I had a scan yesterday on day 12 and no dominant follicle. Largest one they could see was 10.2mm. Have been told to have sex and not do ovulation sticks because of it causing stress

Dominant follicles in one ovary....
Hi everyone - hoping for some advice/experience... I'm on my second egg collection at 44. AMH was 12.07 in March and was pretty elated as meant my egg reserve should be okay ... However, my first scan they said I had 10 follicles but my FSH was a bit too high at 12.2 but they thought that was due to

First IVF cycle - blocked tubes
Hi there, We're just about to do our first IVF cycle in the next few weeks and I'm getting really nervous and afraid it won't work! I'm 38 and my husband is 40, I had really high AMH levels so we got tons of eggs at the extraction phase but it quickly whittled down to around 8 or 9 viable embryos.

*Sensitive* recurrent MCs, faint bfp
Hello! For context, I have a history of early recurrent miscarriages (3 last year), and a toddler. We have now been trying for 18 months, first 8 months with MCs and nothing last 10 months. I have an extremely low amh 1.75 pmol/l, so I was told I should move to IVF. I am due to start IVF medications

Confused about the NHS process for IVF
Hello My husband (age 37) and I (age 32) have been referred to the local infertility service via my GP in Leicestershire. My husband has severe oligospermia, so we were told by the embryologist that we would need ICSI. Also, my AMH is only 9pmol/l. I'm confused about what happens next... I've been
