As I am 41, have never been pregnant, and would have liked a child I have just done an AMH test to see if this is something that would be likely for me. My result has come back as <0.2 which I understand to be incredibly low.

Had my MRI two weeks ago, today I received a letter from a consultant sending me for an AMH test. All it said was ' 31F with endometriosis and large bilateral endometriomas please test prior to surgical planning'. It didn't say anything else but I noticed it was requested from a new name.

I’ve been sent away to do an Amh test and another blood test but basically told that’s it. Nothing else they can do. I feel completely lost now. They haven’t even mentioned the endometriosis investigation and I was so shocked I didn’t ask . Has anyone got any advice I don’t know what to say.

They've taken an AMH test and I'm keeping everything crossed my ovarian reserve hasn't taken a nosedive!

I have taken an AMH test privately partially to put my mind at rest. They said the AMH had to be equal to or above 5.4pmol/L in order for us to qualify.

Also i read that you have to have a natural period ,to do the fsh and AMH test im not sure if this is correct? . Do you think they will induce my period? And will the fsh and amh test work the same way? As it would on a natural bleed? thanks!

I have to start my period to do my fsh test and amh test and then i start the pill . For my second ivf cycle but im worried my period will not come . So is there anything else i can do to try bring on my period this month? The last bleed i had was after my failed fet.

Levels all looked good but they're arranging an up to date AMH test as well as a Hysterosalpingogram. SO... I have read many different things online. I like to have all of the information/examples I can so that I feel prepared.

They want me to do an AMH test which i know you can do at any time of the month . But because i have pcos idk if i will get my period this following month . They want me to on day 2 get the fsh test done. But again what if i do not get my period!?

Husbands sample looking normal now but waiting on dna frag test. Low amh (1.8) maybe lower now …and 39 (nearly 40) years old. It’s hard when there’s no real explanation given. I guess egg quality is a huge factor but I can’t stop wondering.

Hello, I’ve unfortunately just had my second round cancelled due to no response. First try in July I was on 225 Gonal F and 150 Menopur with no response at all. This time they upped it to 300 Gonal F and 150 Menopur which I think is the highest amount, again no response at all 😢 I have been taking

Back again, my 10th transfer failed of a euploid embryo. I tried prednisolone 20mg this time but it didn’t help. I had a particularly stressful week and I don’t think that helped anything whilst dealing with grief during my transfer as I honestly barely slept at all in the run up or the first few days

Bit of a long one. I have stage 4 endometriosis, though had surgery (3rd) this year to clear out most of it (didn't do too much to ovaries as AMH already low). I typically get pain on ovulation. Has anyone else been in this situation? Did they find that there was more pain during the egg simulation part

hello everyone, so in September after my egg collection we collected 2 mature eggs which both failed to fertilise. After 2 weeks we had a withdrawal bleed. Now waiting for my next period to start before next cycle of icsi. On day 37 of this cycle and still no period- is this normal? Has anyone else

It’s hard to reconcile that this may be the end. The facts, I’m 42 with low amh (3.0 when tested over a year ago). Partner had cancer so sperm was frozen 20+ years ago meaning fertility help was our only route. Tried 3x IUI and 2x IVF. Due to age this is all self funded. First round I got only 1 egg
