Update on my daughter's GP call today. So angry.
I'm so angry but not surprised. I didn't expect much tbh. My daughters last Vitamin results from 2022 were B12 290, Ferritin 24, folate 9.2 & Vit D 39. She been on thyroxine since a teenager now in her 40's. TSH levels fluctuating all over the place for past 6 years. Well the GP called today

Would an iodine supplement help?
I still don't feel well (very tired and the most dreadful brain fog which has stopped me driving) and wondered how I would know if an iodine supplement might help? Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Latest Medichecks results - stopped taking b12 liquid 2 weeks before test. Taking Spatone, VitaminD

sigmapharm T3
Has anyone had any issues with this brand? I only ask as the last few scripts have been sigmapharm 20mcg rather than Mercury, and itās taken me a few months to work through supplies I had until Iāve been using that exclusively. Meantime Iāve had a random āhighā and now feeling very low (as posted recently

Iron, estrogen & RLS
Just wondering if anyone is aware of any connection between iron & estrogen (from an RLS perspective)? I'm a 73 year-old male, and I've had high-ish estrogen levels for at least the last 7 years (42-49; normal level should be below 41). I think there is some correlation between high estrogen and high

ERFA vs Thyroid S
Hi Folks.Would people say that ERFA has higher percentages of T4 and T3 than in Thyroid S generally? I am presuming it's purer as there are less binders, fillers and chemicals in the ERFA. If anyone has switched from Thyroid S to ERFA, any advice on dosing levels (eg. had to increase or decrease, symptoms

Really struggling
I have not been able to take thyroxine when I was diagnosed in March 2021, ended up on low FODMAP and with a homeopath and naturopath but went from 9 st 5 to 7 stone 11 when doctors got concerned. Every time I tried to include a food back in diet I was worse. Started thyroxine liquid in September 2023

Chronic Hashimotos and long term side effects
Hi, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos 41 years ago after 6 years of feeling awful. A locum GP spotted a goitre in my throat as I was talking to him. I have been on 100 mcg of Thyroxine ever since. Now I am 66 . I have always suffered from hypoglycaemia-type symptoms after any type of exercise (even

Got GP appointment but what to say to get him to test anything more than TSH
Hi 3 months ago I wrote a post about my daughters results since 2018 & her vitamin levels which are dire. It has taken her this long to manage to get a telephone appointment with a GP next Wednesday. My question is what does she say to convince them to test more than just her TSH. I went through

Getting the NDT dosage right
Hello again friends, I'm writing again in the hope that your collective expertise will come up with a solution for me. I switched from Levothyroxine to NDT (NP Thyroid) some time back, and I've been testing every 12 weeks and tweaking the dose trying to get it right. The latest results, which arrived

phosphate
Good Evening, a little question. I was reading an article about white and whole grain bread. I believe with CKD it is advised to eat white bread due to lower phosphates. The article said that this is not always the case, as although whole grain has more phosphates we only absorb 20-50% of the phosphates
