Trouble Conceiving please help
Hi all, I'm new to this group and just need a little advice please. Me and my other half have been trying for a baby for 4 years but still I can't seem to get pregnant. I have had all the routine tests and everything came back normal for both of us. We had a cycle of IVF which unfortunately failed. I

Trying to conceive
Hi there, For the past few years I've been trying to get pregnant but with no joy. It's now got to the point where I've given up hope. I've been to Doctor's and all that he can say is it's unexplained why I'm not conceiving. I've tried everything from clomid to letezole tablets. I've got another

Ovulation on clomid
Hi everyone, i am on my first round of clomid 50mg for unexplained infertility. Currently on day 18 of cycle. Have been using ov tests everyday and not had LH surge. I had bloods done before starting to confirm that i already ovulated so the clomid was to boost ovulation. Anyone else not had LH surge

Struggling to stay positive
Hello, I'm new to this site, but after just taking another negative pregnancy test, I feel like I'm really starting to struggle. I've been ttc for nearly 2years and have been on Clomid and Ovitrelle for the last 4 months due to a lutual phase defect - and no luck. Some months I've hardly responded and

I am new to this forum and have eventually decided to post something online after years of looking things up and scouting forums ( you know how it is!). My gorgeous little boy is 4.5 and we have been trying for a second for the most part of that, say 4 years. After investigations it turns out that

Success stories? Trying to conceive after laparoscopy for endometriosis
Hi ladies! Looking for some success stories for myself and others here who are in a similar situation. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 3 years, and I'm 31. After looking into it and seeing on transvaginal ultrasound what appeared to be a ~5-6cm endometrioma on each ovary, I had

Hi, I'm new here and was wondering if anyone had gone through a similar experience to me and could shed some light on the situation. I have been on clomid tables (150mg) for my last 2 cycles and it has had no effect on me at all. I also have to take northisterone as I don't have a period naturally and

Last chance saloon
Not quite what we expected yesterday. Had a skype appointment with a different clinic and basically their medical director has reviewed all my previous cycles and thinks despite my high AMH for my age (15 a year ago) I have very poor egg quality. She said that the stupidly high oestrogen levels I get

Menotrophin injections to IVF
I am coming to end of a course of Menotrophin injections, I am also on an ongoing course of Metfornin 500mg tds. My follicles have only recruited to approx 9mm - 10mm on my last scan on 250mg Menotrophin. My question is, really to anyone who's been in my situation; have you had successful or are currently

First timer icsi help!
Hi I'm starting icsi end of this month, just wondering what's your thoughts on icsi? How did you find the injections, egg collection if I get that far, I'm unxplained and my husband had a low count of 20 million along with a low mobility. And what did you eat? I've heard milk is good, along with lots

TTC for nearly a year with PCOS. Anyone used metformin or clomid after the year mark?
We have been trying to conceive for 10 months now and I was diagnosed with PCOS summer last year. I rarely have periods wasnt having them at all since coming off the pill May last year. Had a period in January by myself but didn't get pregnant that month and then again I have had one exactly 28 days

Another prescriptions question
I saw on an earlier post that you can get a pre payment card, i`m considering asking my consultant about injectables as i`ve had no luck with Clomid or Letrazole and this will be my final try as at 46 i know the chances are slim. Would the 3 month card cover the full cost of all the meds, it seems very

Failed Clomid Cycle
Hi everyone I've just been tested to see if I ovulated after taking 50mg of Clomid and unfortunately I didn't. My progesterone levels were tested at day 21 and were 20ng/ml. I have 2 questions - firstly what do your progesterone levels need to be to suggest ovulation? Secondly, before I ever went on
