Should I get an allergy test ?
Hello... I'm new to this forum and joined to ask about an allergy I have. Whenever I eat walnuts (I've narrowed it down to these with a bit of detective work ) my throat tightens up and I get red rashes and feel rubbish for the rest of the day, it's not so bad if I quickly take an antihistamine. My

Hayfever induced asthma
Hi, my 11yo daughter has developed asthma as aresult of her hayfever. She was given the blue inhaler which worked to start with but now doesn't seem to work for her so the doctor has prescribed a brown inhaler. Does anyone have any tips on helping her constant cough/wheeze while she waits for the effects

Oats and Hay Fever
This last week I discovered something really interesting about oats. Last year, for the first time I had a summer without hay fever, however this year I have hay fever again, within a day of trying a product that contains gluten free oat flour. Now this doesn't always mean that something has been the

I'm new here-Dairy allergies/UTI's
I have been having reoccurring UTI's. Never horrible, but just bad enough to make me symptomatic and have to be on an antibiotic. It is always Strep B in my urine. I recently had blood testing for food allergies. It showed I was allergic to dairy, casein and coffee. Could this food allergy be causing

Gluten free and hay fever
This year I don't have hay fever! This is the first time for 35 years. I have been gluten free for 8 months now and think that this must be the reason. Has anyone else found this?

Have I been poisoning myself
I normally feel rough but recently got a noticeable reaction headache straight after eating ancient grain muffins, three times now. Then on Sunday whilst settling down to Ed Sheeran Glastonbury I opened a craft beer, like I've always drunk and after only a few sips had a very sore throat and worried

Your favorite foreign food
Whats your favorite foreign food? What my favorite foreign food is the Japanese sushi, though it can be seen everywhere, it is not usual in the normal family meals. And it's a healthy food I think.

Severe Allergy /Hayfever
Hi my 14 yr old is suffering really badly from hayfever, her nose is constantly blocked and her eyes running constantly. All the over counter treatments (antihistamine) are not working at all. We took her to see the nurse at the local surgery and she said they were not able to prescribe anything stronger

Constant blocked/runny nose, trouble swallowing, plugged ears
I have been suffering for many (7+ years) now with the following symptoms 1. Head pressure / blocked ears (but no noticeable hearing loss). Can temporarily clear it by holding nose and blowing, but comes back quite quickly. Can cause me issues with sleep as it becomes a constant battle to clear my head
