You're not my real mom! You just give me drugs (legal doctor scripts, so chill).
I hope you all forgive me because I think I'm hilarious when I write my titles but I am also usually exhausted and a little punch drunk from a long day. I got scolded this morning from my psychiatrist when she called me to see how I'm liking my new antidepressant prescription. Do you remember when you

No medication seems to be working to ease some of the pain
Me again. No medication seems to be working. I'm currently on 3 gabapentin, Naproxen, 2 Omeprazoles (stomach was slightly damaged in early may as I wasn't aware that you had to have a stomach lining tablet with naproxen... Dr didn't give any Omeprazole with the naproxen so was advised to take 2 of them

Omega 3, PCa, Cardiac
If high omega 3 status is linked to cardiac disease benefits and no changes to PCa then it seems prudent to make sure to get some each week. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/11/191117165610.htm?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+sciencedaily%2Fhealth_medicine%2Fprostate_cancer

Injuries in the garden use caution to remove plasters/dressings!
Someone posted a great post and recommended arm protection the other day - I bought the arm protection but hadn't opened it yet! I managed to carve a chunk out of my arm on the gate latch while mowing. I used an adhesive dressing similar to those used on abscesses etc. All well really until I came

Another problem!
I misread which run to do next. Thinking the run number was the one below the one in the blue circle when actually it must have been the the one in the blue circle so I missed out a couple of runs and then found myself having suddenly to have to run for 5 minutes! It nearly killed me but Sarah said that

How to manage MDD and get out of Survival Mode?
I deal with MDD, and other stuff, but MDD is the main thing I am solving right now. I am trying to get out of survival mode. Like a ton of other people I lost my job due to COVID. I will be financially okay for a few months, maybe more with unemployment. I do not like where I live and feel unsafe. I

Feel like I’m just going round in circles and it’s really starting to affect my mental health now too. I just want nothing more then to be able to get through one day without been in so much pain. Hi I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis due to a dexa scan result. I am starting on Alendronic Acid tomorrow morning. I know that taking Turmeric will not help with building new bones , but ive been told how good it is for lots of other things. I asked a lovely asian nurse what to take it

normal side effects??
My mum has had small nose bleeds, yesterday morning and today and has a strange metallic smell to her urine - does this sound familiar to anyone? She had got down to 20mg Pred and then a flair up happened - the only warning was a bit of tiredness then further - sudden, visual loss -she was

Prednisone & Bone loss
I have been taking Prednisone and Abiraterone for about 1 year. I just had a bone density scan and am told I now have osteoporosis. From what I read, it's a side effect of Prednisone. Any feedback on what the lowest useful dose can be of Prednisone? I.e., They are proposing I take > "initiate Alendronate

do I have endometriosis?
Hey i'm new here! :) Im 22 years old and over the past year my periods have gotten extremely painful. On the first day of my period the only relief I get is by sitting in the shower with the shower hose on the hottest degree and rubbing it on my belly and legs. The pain is particularly bad down my legs

Periods worsening every time I take a break from hormones?
On the evra patch, took it off to have a period before switching to the pill (logynon) as the patch was causing high blood pressure and palpitations. Every time I take my patch off if seems to get worse. This morning I had a tightening pain from my bottom left abdomen which traveled up through my ribs

Should I switch from Levothyroxine to NDT?
Hi. I have hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's) and have been taking Levothyroxine for one year and 3 months. My dose is 50 mcg for 5 days per week and 75 mcg twice a week. I seem to be very sensitive to Levothyroxine. I lose a lot - and I mean A LOT - of hair when I am taking even 25 mcg a week more than

Endometrial Cancer- 8 months remission-after 4 years trying
Hi friends, As we all worry and deal with covid-19 pandemic, I thought it would be good to share some success I have been having, mostly because I never expected this much success...even though I remain open to the idea that my cancer can recur. I am in remission about 8 months! My doc always said he

Feel sick after taken medication and eating... a little worried
I've been sick since last Friday where I'd be sick after every meal. Yesterday i seemed to be back to normal. However tonight, I took; x2 250mg Naproxen (I usually take 1 500mg tablet but a new pharmacy service could only give me the lower dosage) X2 Omeprazole as a few weeks ago, I found out that I
