Supplement Advice
I know there’s been a few posts already about this so apologies for me asking but just want some advice specifically for my situation. I’m 37 had 6 failed IUIs in 2019 and was about to start round 1 of IVF when lockdown kicked in. I have underactive thyroid so take thyroxine & I have low ovarian reserve

I’ve been listening to guided meditation for sleep. I look up free ones on YouTube. The link below is pretty good. https://youtu.be/uuzJffTliSc

How I overcame IBS-D
Dear all, I periodically post this advice to help new-comers to the subject. I consider myself a recovered IBS-sufferer and so like to share what I learned. I hope that you are keeping sane during the lockdown! This is my general approach to help people understand and repair their gastro-intestinal

Anyone use amitriptyline for endo pain?
I've seen mention of amitriptyline used for endo pain on here. Can anyone tell me their experiences with this? I'm at a point where my medication isn't working well enough and am looking for other options. If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know too! I'm currently taking 60mg codeine

On the “horns of a dilemma” re Alendronic Acid 😳
Your thoughts/ experience would be welcome please. My situation: diagnosed with PMR Dec2019. Pred dose 15, increased to 17.5 for a couple of weeks, now symptoms controlled at 15 hoping to decrease to 13.5 next week. Blood tests also indicated I am pre-diabetic, just overweight with BMI 26. Now signed

Advice please?
Hi, I was told I had osteoporosis in May 2018. My scores were: Femur neck: T score -1.1, Z score -0.1 Spine: T score -2.5 Z score -1.4 Looking at the charts, my interpretation is that my hip is just in the osteopenia range and my spine just in the osteoporosis range. If it hadn't been that I started

Newly diagnosed
I was recently diagnosed with PBC. So still learning about disease. Just started on ursodiol for one month. 1200 mg daily. Wondering if this medication can cause bladder irritations and burning? If so why and what to do.. little comment from my Dr when I asked. Would appreciate input. I am still going

Decisions decisions
Had DEXA today and not good news (knew it wouldn’t be with 5 compression fractures already. Fracture risk with no treatment at least 24% over next 10 years. Consultant gave me choice of: Alendronate weekly but feels it’s not a good option as I already need a PPI just to take Naproxen Denosumab (Prolia

Amitriptyline for Endometriosis - what’s your experience?
I’ve tried several painkillers now: codeine, mefanamic acid, tramadol, codydramol and naproxen. They’ve now prescribed me Amitriptyline and I was wondering what anyone else’s experience was with this drug or any other medication they have found useful with managing endometriosis pain?

MELATONIN FOR COVID-19 / Part 1
One possible problem for moderate to severe Covid-19 patients is the potential for significant damage to the lungs and possibly other organs like the liver based on what is being seen in patients. Doctor wants me to start Alendronic Acid.
Hi all, had a bad couple of weeks, started when I tried to reduce my Pred for the first time down to 12.5mg from 15mg, after the first week I was feeling rotten by the 2nd week back to where I was last November when diagnosed. Phoned doctors who put Pred back up to 15mg and ordered bloods. 2 days later
