Periods worsening every time I take a break from hormones?

On the evra patch, took it off to have a period before switching to the pill (logynon) as the patch was causing high blood pressure and palpitations. Every time I take my patch off if seems to get worse. This morning I had a tightening pain from my bottom left abdomen which traveled up through my ribs, kidneys, and finally to my chest. Something I don’t understand is why my ribs and chest and upper part of my body hurt so much when the problem is with endo on my pelvic area and bowel?? 😫😕 It was so bad I had to stop walking and couldn’t move until the pain had subsided. This usually happens until I have a bowel movement some days but this time it was excruciating. I’ve taken mefenamic acid, tranexamic acid and paracetamol. Does anyone know why it’s getting worse ??? I thought the pill or patch was supposed to make periods less painful and lighter ???
