Has anyone seen the site online regarding APS and there are all types off information given by doctors etc.
I came across this site which covered APS and the top doctors that was involved with this site. One of the topics that was discussed was the use of blood thinners (only 2 of them was mentioned), Heprin and Wafarin. NO riveroxoban, no Fragmin, and what scared me the most was the fact that the Doctors

Hi I have had this condition for 9 months and have been treated with methotrexate and prednisone but the mxt made me lose hair and didn’t actually seem as though it was working. I’m now on chemo and have my last dose next week but again still unsure whether it’s doing anything. Still having hair loss

Methotrexate Hair Loss
Hello. I haven't posted on here for a long long time, but I'm hoping someone can answer a question for me. I have struggled with methotrexate hair loss for five years, which was depressingly much worsened by the addition of hydroxychloroquine for six months. I've just had a painful three month break

Coming off Depo-Provera
Hey guys, 3 months ago I had my first injection of DP. However I don’t feel like it agreed with me and I chose to not get my second injection. However while on the injection I did see a relief of my symptoms, since I was meant to have my other injections a couple of days ago I have felt dreadful. I

PBC, hair loss and itching
Hi all, my consultant is currently investigating me for PBC after 3 years of high LFT’s, 2 biopsies and no real answers! So I have started taking urso (500mg twice daily). But my itching has got significantly worse since starting it - is this normal?? I thought the medication would help ease the itching

Can anyone help with CAP score?
Hi guys, Just wanted to ask if anyone knows what CAP score 247 Db/m really means, it came back with my fibroscan in which LSM was 3.9 KPA but CAP was 247. 3 months ago CAP was 184 so am wondering if this means anything serious so I see a doctor. I had hepatitis A 3 years ago and liver had failed because

Hi everyone, thank you for all your support. My arm has had a CT SCAN. Awaiting results to see if they can re- break it, to put the humerus and shoulder in the correct position so it can heal better, and give me more movement back and hopefully down the doses of morphine I’m living on, but the surgeon

Having PMR Is Like Dancing With A Gorilla……..
The dance isn’t over until the gorilla decides it’s over. On August 25, 2017, I began a treatment regimen which included weekly injections of depo-medrol that provided me with an average of 11.4 mg per day. Ten months later, I had tapered my daily dose to approximately 3.3 mg and switched over to 4.0

Does anyone know if it’s safe to take tramadol when on rivaroxaban? I was prescribed tramadol after my first hip replacement but not sure if I was on warfarin at the time.

Out of the Blue
Hi I’m new on here and I thought I tell my story. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis about four years ago, I had the usual difficulty with the diagnosis, at first they thought it was Lymphoma then they thought it was TB and eventually they came up with Sarcoidosis. I lost weight, had a severe cough, sweats

Beta Glucan: Which One to Take?
Many of you have responded to my suggesting Beta Glucan, a natural immunomodulator, be considered as a supplement in your anticancer regimen. You are aware of the numerous cancer clinical trials using beta glucan as an adjuvant therapy with leading chemotherapy drugs. Because these are OTC supplements

End of Trial
I had been on the LOGS trial for recurrent low grade serous cancer for the past 12 months. It has been keeping the cancer mostly stable but not without some complications. The medication had been having an adverse effect on my heart output. I had been through two dose reductions but sadly my heart function

Restless legs, why worse at times?
At different times in my life, I've had restless legs, and insomnia caused by that. I would take a sleep aid, one not mentioned as being worse for rls. Right now, big issue. Six nights in a row. I'm in a remote location for three more weeks with no access to pharmacy. Besides stretching exercises, what
