Actemra and hair loss
Kia ora I have been on monthly infusions of Actermra for 6 months now and recently noticed daily hair loss and that my hair has become straighter. I am wondering if anyone had any experience of this or suggestions to minimise this?

So on Saturday from 8am to 4:30pm I'm going to do a first aid + CPR thing (for the one day) for my college course. In saying that, I'll be by myself in the sense that I won't have any familiar faces with me (which makes me nervous) I went to the vet today since my cats been ill and on my own which I

Coming off beta blockers
I was put on beta blockers in August 2016. I started on 2.5mg and went down to 1.25mg. I can't remember when my dose was lowered, but that probably happened in June 2017. I have been on Rivaroxaban (Xarelto) since my ablation in January 2017 and remain on that but nothing else. I stopped taking beta

Breast scan
I had a manogram today and things didn’t go well. She couldn’t see anything on manogram but then examined me and scanned me and then said she saw a shadow , she said I e got no lumps but she then took a biopsy. Which I’m sore after . I’m really anxious and don’t even know what a shadow means 😢 would

Things are moving! 😁(porphyria)
Hi everyone, hope you're all as well as you can be? As some of you know from my previous posts I've been waiting to see the haemotologist about my porphyria and the iron loading. Finally got an appointment for today after a 20 odd week wait and phoning pals. They can't do anything about the porphyria

LiverMultiScan
I'm new to this group. I'm just wondering why the Perspectum Diagnostics LiverMultiScan developed in Oxford is not yet being widely used in NHS hospitals? The USA has grabbed this amazing software with both hands but over here I think Southampton have it, Birmingham has used it for trials and Derriford

What is the difference?
Difference between .5mg and 0.5? My past prescription was klonopin 0.5 (Yellow round) My pharmacy says they cant get it from the supplier anymore so I was given 1mg tablets (blue round) so I cut it in half making it a .5mg right? I don't know why this confuses me. :) i was taking it for anxiety,

That didn’t go as well as I hoped, definitely wasn’t hydrated enough, number 2 son was running too fast, got a slight bug from kissing rubber dummies this week ( first aid training)and I miss timed the route so we ended up having to run up steps in woodland which killed my legs. Came across a former

Does PCOS get worse?
Does PCOS get worse? I’ve been diagnosed for a year and a half - give or take. Since coming off the hormonal coil I’ve had periods, sometimes I’d be late for a couple of weeks, which gives false hope of pregnancy... the last month or so I’ve seen more and more hair fall out and a couple of black hairs

Hello to everyone I wondered if anyone here has any experience of using Tyrosine or any knowledge of it being used as an aid to helping with thyroid condition, I ask as I am concerned about using it as it had been suggested to me by someone I know, I have hashimotos and due an update blood test soon.

It rears its ugly head...
I used to have panic attacks when I was a teenager - they were so bad that it got me exploring my own mental health only to find that I have Bi Polar disorder with anxiety and panic disorder. I have been on a medication regiment from the age of 16. Now, I'm 32 and my panic attacks have come back full

Viral Hepatitis - ongoing upper right pain
Hi all, I'm trying to find out what parameters of normal I can expect following a prolonged cholestatic phase due to viral hepatitis (unknown virus). Back in February I had the flu, started to get a little better but then nausea started followed by dark urine then itchiness (horrifically so!) resulting

Hi. My name is Louise and I am 39 yrs old and was told after a liver biopsy that I either have PBC or autoimmune hepatitis. I should find out in the next week which one.
