I feel exactly as I did when I had pneumonia so I have increased my steroids from 10mg to 40mg today. Not feeling any better so think I will try the Clarithomycin as well tomorrow. I have

Defibrillator
Hi, posting on behalf of my husband he recently had a major heart attack and we would like to buy a fully automatic defibrillator. The BHF website advises contacting the local ambulance service which I did a week ago but despite chasing them up I still have not had a reply even advising we would be happy

Lightning
Watched the most amazing electrical storm last night in the bay of menorca where we currently are. Reminded me very much of the TN that I have & am currently flaring with. The form lightning through the face into my teeth and jaw followed by the bellowing clap of shock following it. Horrid condition

In need of a consultant who follows Prof Hughes protocol
Basically I was diagnosed sero negative in 2004 by Prof Hughes and treated with warfarin, later fragmin. Now I have nobody to support me. I don’t want to be on fragmin forever it’s been 3 years now plus I’m getting older too. But I’m afraid to see anybody I’ve had 2 nhs Drs say they’ve not heard of seronegative

I have changed from warfarin to Russians this week. I am feeling really anxious. My heart seems to be beating faster. Has anyone else experienced this?

In need of some rational encouragement, advice, please
Hey there... As I said in an earlier post, I was back at work today and am glad for it. Here's why I'm writing now... My psychiatrist gave me a prescription for Seroquel to help with sleep. I've had pretty bad sleep since July. He set the dosage at 50 to 100mg, but the first dose that I took (last night

Made it Through 1st Week of Chemo
My treatment so far has been a loading dose of Fermagon and a week down of taxotere. I have at least 6 week cycles of chemo scheduled. So far so good no real symptoms that have changed my normal routine. No nausea, no digestive issues, no hair loss yet, no change in energy levels. I realize I'm a newbie

NEW FLU VACCINE
I am aware that for many years "experts" have said that a flu injection can affect people who have had strokes, and are on Warfarin. Now I understand, that the new flu vaccine for this year for the "over 65's" may react adversely with Warfarin. It apparently contains different enzymes etc. which cause
