I am aware that for many years "experts" have said that a flu injection can affect people who have had strokes, and are on Warfarin.
Now I understand, that the new flu vaccine for this year for the "over 65's" may react adversely with Warfarin. It apparently contains different enzymes etc. which cause the blood to thin. This combined with the job the Warfarin does, could lead to internal bleeding. Should someone on Warfarin consider reducing it immediately before having the flu injection? Then a day later go back to the usual dosage. Any views or comments appreciated.

I just got the “regular” flu shot last week. Reportedly, flu may be bad this year as it has started early with people who are already testing positive for it in my doctor’s office!
I also remember reading something about a number of people coming down with flu on 3 airplanes a week or 2 ago. Yikes!
