I posted previously on this long and tortuous journey to ( almost) a diagnosis. Almost because my concierge PCP gave me a heads up on the biopsy report which hasn’t been posted on my digital chart and I haven’t yet heard from my Urologist/ Onocologist. It’s been 4 mos since my annual checkup said my

Any suggestions for supplements to augment Docetaxel/ADT?
Halfway through chemo with Docetaxel. PSA at 0.02 for last two measurements. Anyone aware of any supplements that may help? I am also on Lupron and darolutamide. Treating Pulmonary mets.

New study validates intermittent hormone therapy
PCRI just posted a new video titled 'New study validates intermittent hormone therapy'. So, just search 'PCRI' in YouTube and that video will pop up. Certain individuals on this site feel strongly against curtailing the duration of hormone therapy from the standard 2 to 3 years or even longer. I urge

Duration of ADT needed with salvage radiation
New data from the "Formula 509" trial shows that hormone intensification with adjuvant apalutamide+abiraterone+
ADT
for just 6 months with salvage radiation therapy (SRT) may be all that's needed: https://www.prostatecancer.news/2023/02/duration-of-

my first post
Hello there, I’ve been dealing with this since 1/2015. I’ve had brachytherapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, cyber knife, immunotherapy, more chemotherapy, now taking Everolimus and letrozole. I’ve always felt that this was a chronic disease after the medications stopped working onto the next regimen

Allergic reaction to Doxil, my first ever chemo infusion
Hi everyone, Has anyone experienced an allergic reaction to Doxil? Almost three years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 MBC. After being on hormone therapy for over two years, mostly IBrance and Letrozole, and then oral chemo for six months, my most recent petscan showed the cancer is still spreading

so am blown away that he thinks it isn’t madness ( given I had distant multiple bone mets last year! One to think about!

Low T
My husband has been on "vacation" from
ADT
, zytiga and prednisone for a year. His PSA is tested every 3 months. Today's number is still <0.1 ng/ml. However, his T was slowly building...17, 24, 42 and now dropping to 34. Should I be worried?

Rising PSA...again..
By December 2019 I was alarmed enough to start
ADT
with Elegard and in February 2020 I started radiation therapy for 8 weeks. My PSA finally went down to 0.008 and remained there until now. My PSA is 0.19, a significant rise it seems to me. Not sure what comes next, at this point.

A Clinical Trial saved my Life ..12 years a Survivor of Advanced Metastatic Prostate Cancer, Stage 4.
When Alfred Samuels was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2012, it felt as if his world had fallen apart overnight. Doctors said surgery wasn’t an option for him because the cancer had spread beyond his prostate, and he started to lose hope. But then he joined a clinical trial and began treatment

Of course, that’s another side effect of
ADT
. Has anyone else had an experience like this? Any insight from doctors? Mine have been dismissive. Thoughts? Aloha.

When do hot flashes end once ADT is suspended?
I was on
ADT
(Eligard) quarterly injections from January 2021 to November 2022 (two years). I am still experiencing the side effects of frequent hot flashes, low energy levels, weight gain, etc.
