I’m five years Post surgery including removal of prostate & lymph nodes. Gleason 8 with Intraductal. Sepsis, DVT/PE after surgery which left me with chronic fatigue, brain fog and bad overactive bladder with incontinence. Four years post stereotactic radiotherapy to the left iliac area following a PSMA

Additional Drug Choice
I started my
ADT
treatment with Eligard and Xtandi but had to change due to the cardiovascular side effects. I have been on Orgovyx alone for 10 months. My PSA is undetectable and my testosterone is 13. The drug is doing what it should.

Cycling and loss of power on ADT
I’ve been a cyclist fo over 20 years and used to do ultra distance cycling. (Over 20 double centuries and the Furnace Creek 508) I’m now taking both Nubeqa and Orgovyx and have mostly been riding an eBike, but today went out on my regular road bike. It was a struggle to finish 37 miles with an average

what is the role of a MO?
I’ve had RP, recurrence,
ADT
, salvage radiation. No one has ever referenced involvement by MO at any stage and RO seems to suggest he’ll handle it all if PSA rises. Is MO a “last ditch” team member? I know nothing about their role. Not itching to see a doc I don’t need, merely seeking info.

ADT Emotional Lability Do Antidepressants Help?
Dear All, I’m dealing with the emotional lability of
ADT
and was wondering if Antidepressants helped? Just curious about others experiences. I have tried escitalopram but was deathly nauseous 3 days in and stopped taking it and haven’t tried anything else. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

I know it's probably Neoupopthy or a form of it most likely from
ADT
for five years now. I'm sure some of you are experiencing this new twist to our APC . I take an over the counter supplement that's specifically for Neoupopthy already. Any help or advice from my brothers is appreciated.

Best Weight Training for Hormone therapy
My team says I should do at least 4-6 months of
ADT
and i know weight training can help while on
ADT
. I am 71 and because of covid don't want to do training in a gym. Any suggestions on what sort of weights and regimen i should start out on at home?

HRT / zolodex / hormone treatment help
Hi all. I posted recently about my concerns regarding zolodex etc. I think my only next steps is a complete hysterectomy due to my issues. HOWEVER. That being said, everyone seems to manage better withHRT and I'm looking to speak with people who have never been able to tolerate any form of hormone treatment

adding Alendronic acid side effects ?
I am wondering what others have experience when on Zoladex
ADT
(4.5 months of 24 + RT) of adding Alendronic acid (for osteoporosis) Had first one 5 days ago and am having muscle pain - seems rather quick and wondering if it’s the Zoladex accumulation and is the muscle and fatigue just getting worse

Zytiga failed, Xtandi next
MO says the active hip lesion means the Zytiga is failing, at least at that one area only but recommends Xtandi and I am now hormone resistant after 19 months on
ADT
plus Zytiga/prednisone.

Why we add an AART drug to ADT?
In response to a post asking if adding enzalutamide to
ADT
is beneficial: Xtandi would increase T levels if not simultaneously using an LHRH
ADT
. It blocks AR in hypothalamus leading to perception of deficit and increased LH and testicular testosterone.

Dutasteride (Advodart) as an Alternative to ADT in Salvage RT Setting?
The
ADT
seems to buy a very moderate amount of extra time before metastases occurs but I've yet to find clear data that the addition of
ADT
significantly increases the probability that SRT is curative. The side effects of
ADT
are pretty harsh.

ADT now failing, what is next for us. ?
No symptoms at all now, no sideeffects from
ADT
which took PSA to 0. Small rise in blood pressureHas anybody survived for a lenghty time adding a new
ADT
drug? Should he have chemo? He is 75 years old, exercising daily.
