Emerging castrate resistance
ADT
by itself started to fail around 21 months, which I am told is about average. So we wait another 6 weeks. My MO said when my PSA gets to 1.5, we will do scans again and determine the next step. last visit I was told we wouldn't worry about things until the PSA reached 2.

Treatment on symptoms vs blood results
Hi all. I’m new to this group and would love feedback from people with similar experiences. My TSH level has been slightly raised since 2012 (5.0) and had been experiencing fatigue and sleep issues but my doctor said I didn’t need hormone treatment. I immigrated in 2017 and obviously stress and age

QoL - a great gig last night!
So far, I am tolerating Prostap (
ADT
) plus Xtandi reasonably well - hoping that will last a long time!

So frustrated that endo told me my hypo symptoms are social, emotional and psychological
After 11 months I finally saw an endocrinology registrar to go over my blood test results and symptoms. I am on 150mcg thyroxine and 40mcg of liothyronine, after 7 years on NDT which I came off in January 2021 to return to the 'NHS way' of T4-only therapy (the price of NDT was becoming prohibitive plus

Switching from levothyroxine to NDT: your experience?
Hi beautiful people, I shared many posts here on the forum of how I've been trying to increase my levothyroxine for months and still struggling with the side effects - pulse increase, BP going up, hyper symptoms while hypo, etc. At this stage, I've been at it for 8 months and I still haven't found

Newly diagnosed thinking of trying metavive.
I’m a 50 year old male and I’ve been experiencing a variety of symptoms for probably the last 4 years looking back. I didn’t even realise the thyroid was such an important organ. I used to be in the gym out running regularly but probably for the last 3-4 years these symptoms have got progressively worse

Where to buy ndt?
I'm on Levaxin since 2012, still having alot of symtoms and in sweden ndt is rarely prescribed. I've tried with my doctor and it's a firm no. I've bought it online before and got the links from helpful users on here. Can anyone help me with links to where you can buy ndt without prescription? Thanks

Meaning of SHBG
After almost 7 years since metastatic diagnosis and treatments of radiation, chemotherapy and
ADT
(6 monthly Eligard) since 2016, I have not had my testosterone levels tested until now. I am not sure what the above results mean. Would be pleased to hear any input about what this.

T2 supplementation
Hi all, I've seen T2 supplementation is now a thing and some thyroid patients in America have 3 hormone treatment T4, T3 and T2. Does anyone have any information on T2 and if it is necessary if you've had a thyroidectomy? Many thanks

Help with latest blood test results and NDT dose please
Hello, long story short... I've had hypothyroidism for around 14 years now, I've had a mixture during those years of either levothyroxine - GP never prescribed the right dose and I had reactions to it, so started buying NDT and did well, until covid hit and I found it difficult to get it. My latest

Armour NDT, possible problems
I’m currently taking Armour NDT 1 grain in the morning and 3/4s in the afternoon. My bloods are really good and my symptoms have definitely improved. However, I’ve been having some problems such as feeling nauseous off and on through the day and also the odd day where my bowels are really loose and
