Am I high risk?
He feels if the hot lymph node and the prostate fascia (he considers the invisible source) are radiated, I might be free of
ADT
etc for a few years.

Addition of Metastasis-Directed Therapy to Intermittent Hormone Therapy for Oligometastatic PC. The EXTEND Phase 2 Randomized Clinical Trial
MDT and intermittent
ADT
offer a progression free survival advantage when compared with intermittent
ADT
alone. "MDT facilitated a longer time with eugonadal testosterone as part of an intermittent hormone therapy strategy."

Help! Need feedback on Pluvicto recommendation
I can’t find any data on use when PSA is still low and responding to
ADT
, though Duke says this suggested treatment is not part of the new PSMAaddtion study. Questions - 1) Have any of you had Pluvicto while still hormone sensitive? If so, what were the results?

First Post Biopsy Consult
I should note here that my living brother had Gleasons in the 9s and has had aggressive treatment -- the battery of prostectomy, radiation,
ADT
, etc. My deceased father did not die of PCa (and was a regular Lupron receiver).

Embr Wave 2 Thermal Wristband
Has anybody here used this product, that is featured currently at Costco, for hot flash relief (or for anything else related to
ADT
)? Sounds a bit hokey to me, but the reviews on Amazon are positive.

Goserelin - side effects profile variability between implants
So I am aware that the side effects of
ADT
are both real and yet also exacerbated or lessened by my mood, which of course is also subject to the impact of having high risk PCa and it’s possible long term impact but also the physiological impact of the medication’s removal of most of my testosterone.

PSA on ADT but post EBRT
Basically I’m wondering if psa at this point is any indicator of outcome or will we not know until he discontinues the
adt
treatment in August 2024? I appreciate any information you can provide!

Sacral insufficiency fractures
Google, I understand what they are, and that they are typically seen in old ladies with osteoporosis (not so different from this 70-year-old man on
ADT
). But I also see that it's been know to occur in men or women following pelvic radiation, which I finished 4.5 months ago.

Xtandi (enzalutamide) alone is superior to ADT alone at preventing metastases in "high-risk" recurrent men
performed significantly better than
ADT
alone (+ placebo).

Help on what to expect with this 6 month follow up?
He has been on
ADT
for the last year as well. My questions are: 1. What can we expect on this follow up. Will they just set up new scans to see where he stands? 2. What would be considered a success / failure.

45 yr young. Next steps?
He suggested that doing
ADT
first, before chemo, is a bit backwards. Basically in a nutshell, Because the chemo is most effective on active and dividing cancerous cells, and the
ADT
puts those cells to sleep, which makes an argument that it renders chemo a less effective.

looking for advice.
He was also put on
ADT
for 6 months. PSA dropped to <0.05 and stayed undetectable until August 2021 when it rose to 0.13. We were told not to worry. Bloods in Feb 2022 showed PSA was 8.63 and 7 days later 11. Ct scan showed numerous bone mets in ribs, hips and spine.

I just began the Eclipse Clinical Trial and will be posting my experiences here. Please share yours too.
The criteria was that I had to be castrate resistant and failed at first generation
ADT
, as well as second generation
ADT
. Plus that I had to have a minimum PSA of 2.0 with two consecutive rises one week apart.
