Has anybody here used this product, that is featured currently at Costco, for hot flash relief (or for anything else related to ADT)? Sounds a bit hokey to me, but the reviews on Amazon are positive.

Been using it for 3 - 4 mo. or so. Not a game changer but definitely helps. Unless Costco has a really great price, consider buying direct as they give a 60 day (I believe) trial period.

From what I have read it sounds about as close to bullshit as it gets There is no way that a little rechargeable battery in a wrist watch sized device can do much to transfer heat for any prolonged period. They way it supposedly works is that when you have a hot flash you turn it on and it might reduce the severity of the hot flash. Well you have already woken up so WTF? When I checked it out (a year or two ago) the only reference to anything "scientific" was a study done on the effect of social thermoregulation. There are no studies that prove or suggest that the Embre does anything worthwhile other than make mney for the scammers who sell it.

I made a much more "capable" device with a peltier junction cooling unit hooked up to a much larger power source than in the Embre. It might have done a little something? Really wishful thinkning. When you spend hundreds on this POS you really want it to work. Talk about placebo effect in spades.

Get it at Costco since you can return almost anything. I might even :) Maybe they have some link into perpetual motion or some other magic that makes this thing work.

If you buy two of them they will also include a 4 inch cube that harnesses the free energy of the universe and will power your home completely. Damn I just spent $30000 on solar and it takes up a lot more space than 64 cubic inches. Hmmm, the Embre just might cure cancer too. Scientific evidence suggests that it does. If it only did the dishes and washed and clipped the dog I would be in.
