Nexium Control
I wanted to find something to try and ease my
acid
reflux
and indigestion. (Worries the hell out of me since the HA). I went to the pharmacy which dispenses my prescriptions to ask which over the counter medication would be best and was advised to try Omeprazole or Nexium Control (Esomeprazole).

Dizziness
I also have
acid
reflux
and keep belching all the time, just waiting to have a camera down to see what’s causing it. The PPI’s were making it worse. I recently had all my bloods checked by a neurologist because I have areas of numbness and they were all normal.

Supplements - Dangerous, Essential or Useless?
Wizard recently made an interesting post on the "drive to minimize supplementation" that I wanted to respond to in-depth. The post: https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/150006558/the-drive-to-reduce-minimize-supplementation I decided a long form response would be better, thus my separate post here.

7 years in May since I was diagnosed.
I've been reminding myself how far I've come. Back in 2016 I was struggling to have enough energy to get dressed and spent many days in my PJ's. Most I managed was to provide a meal each day. Showering was exhausting so that didn't happen often either. Back then I had few spoons and when they were

Osteoporosis
Hello Everybody, I had a DEXA scan in 2020, as far as I can see the only worrying result was the neck of femur -2.7. I have just had another DEXA scan on a different machine, and the same result was -2.9. To me, that is not a great difference, having been on steroids for 2 1/2 years. I now have been

Health News: Nourishment for Eyes
When my Mom was 6, an Alsatian (German Shepherd) dog jumped up on her, jarring her head round to look, left her with a cast in her right eye. Known as strabismus, the ancient Greek for squinting. More accurately, it means the affected eye can’t really focus and can thus appear as a cross-eye. Off her

How much is too much D3
Any views on taking 10,000 iu d3 daily? There’s evidence that it’s ‘safe and well tolerated’ I went to see my bone consultant today, he wasn’t impressed by me taking this amount but my calcium level is good and my dexa results have gone from -2.6 to -2.1 in 2 years I also take k2 and magnesium ,

ANRC Plus instead of B complex?
The below is my own work which I am simply sharing. I have no other agentia other than to invite comments and zero expectations. I make no claim to legitimacy or accuracy. I have less than zero medical training. It makes sense to me that any supplement should be checked to insure that an ingredient

D- Mannose strength
I wondered if the D-Mannose would help clear it up, my doctor recommended Cranberry juice but I found that too acidic and it gave me
acid
reflux
. I was wondering what strength of D-Mannose tablets you could suggest?

Alendronic acid and depression
I came off Alendronic Acid because I didn’t think it was agreeable with me, it was a couple of months ago and I can’t remember the exact reason but it was on the suggestion of a consultant I was seeing for another reason and I have been fine. I started to take it again 3 weeks ago because I knew I

Lactose Free Levothyroxine
Since then I've not had
acid
indigestion or
reflux
and feel better for it. I requested a lactose free levo from my GP and they advised me to speak to the pharmacy. They asked me to discuss it with the doctor.

New to this website and am looking for some advice :)
When I finally saw him, I explained everything, telling him that no matter what I eat, my stomach hates it and causes severe pain, and that I have extreme urgency as soon as I finish eating and how bad my
acid
reflux
is and how bad my nausea is and how the pain is so bad sometimes that I end up shaking

reflux
big time so looked up "The
Acid
Reflux
diet" by Dr Jonathan Aviv so much in depth information which I've identified with myself, the diet is interesting 🤞will help ease my discomfort. Defo need an endoscopy to see what the damage is.
