So I had my pre-op checks a couple of weeks back, today was due to sign consent forms, chat with pharmacy etc but it got postponed. Pharmacy then phones a bit later to discuss when to stop my cocktail, so we have a mix of 1, 2 & 3 days before except for 1 one, my over the counter Omega 3 fish oil. I

What vitamin gummies are we using?
I keep reading about zinc, omega 3 and magnesium. Does anyone have recommendations on gummy vitamins they use for ADHD that are helping? My daughter is 7. Thanks!

Medication
I have a doctor appointment to discuss increasing my medication & possibly take a sleep aid. I’m currently taking 20 MG of Escitalopram but have not tried a sleep aid. I’m really nervous about my appointment tomorrow.

Alendronic Acid and Bloating
I've been taking A Acid now for a month and although things started off well I am now so bloated that I can't stand it! Does The Risedronate stuff have the same effect ? Would I be better off trying that one. Thanks....

Vitamin Supplements for PMR
I have had PMR since February 2023, diagnosed end of April, started on 15mg Pred, increased to 20mg to get fully on top of pain. Throat pain and swallowing problems
Is this a symptom of sceloderma i don't have any
acid
reflux
symptoms, unless it's silent reflux, or pain in my chest. Does anyone else suffer from this type of pain/ sensation in the throat area?

Fatigue
Since being diagnosed with an inflammatory disorder three years ago I have suffered with various symptoms most of which are now well controlled and stable. The severe pain in my joints and other parts of my body and the excruciatingly painful headaches thankfully seem to be kept at bay by medication

Asthma or COPD?
I am active, 60, like hiking, perceived myself as having mild occasional asthma, typically associated with
acid
reflux
. Recently had bad virus and chest infection. Okay after antibiotics but asked GP if a specialist could look at me as worried about a test 6 yrs ago that said I might have COPD.

Stopped Omeprazole before endoscopy and have a big increase in heartburn
I got an appointment almost straight away and I’ve not been taking the Omeprazole for 4 days now and I’ve realised how much it was helping to stop the heartburn through the day as well as
acid
reflux
at night.

IBS and Osteoporosis drugs.
Has anyone had Zoledronic acid infusion for Osteoporosis, and developed IBS symptoms afterwards. I never had it before, and it started a few months after that. I don't get constipation or diarrhoea it's just lots of cramping abdominal pain made worse after I eat.

Alendronic Acid
It has been recommended that I take Alendronic Acid to protect my bones whilst taking Prednisone as I now have Osteoporosis. To be honest given the potential horrendous side effects of Alendronic Acid which on top of those of taking Prednisone and of course the impact of having GCA I am reluctant to
