Diagnosing mild TBI
I am looking for answers/diagnosis for my son that was injured in a fall in 2010. He suffered a basilar skull fracture and had a concussion but no internal bleeding. We felt so very fortunate, but in the last 2 years he has suffered depression and began to drink excessively at times and has had 2 seizures

Slow transit constipation
Hi there, Calling all sufferers, and wanted to ask what works for you and if senna is the only thing that gets things moving for you? I have been suffering with slow transit constipation since having my daughter with a c-section. I’m pretty sure it was the stomach surgery that’s caused it. I’ve spent

Hello!
Hello all! I am new to the community. 2 months ago my mom's undetected brain aneurysm ruptured. We feared the worst but got the best. After being in an induced coma and then waking up she moved finally to a rehab hospital and is on her way to recover. During that time my dad suffered a trauma injury

Pretty sure my husband has ADHD
I'm very surprised he hasn't gotten into more car
accidents
. He is horrible at communicating, especially feelings. Very controlling, like to be in control at all times. He gets very hyper focused on something he will literally be on his phone for hours, ignoring everything and everyone.

Two doses of enoxaparin inj a day for APS stroke survivors?
I ve had a couple of dibilatating strokes but w alot of PT(physio) i am very close to 98%. My question is i am on enoxaparin 2.2 mg/kg every twelve hours is this average for most. I know some without strokes take only take 40mg a day as a preventative. What are other”APS stroke” patients taking. Curious

Stopped: B. Longum BB536 (Morinaga) probiotic for gut related health issues (IBS) -> switched to b. infantis 35624 (Alflorex)
I'll no longer take Alflorex and will try another probiotic, Bacillus Coagulans. I also don't take bacillus coagulans anymore. These probiotics weren't beneficial for my health symptoms. **************************** Just started, the 11th of August, with a single strain probiotic, bifidobacterium longum

Euthanasia and Echinacea
Garshe shared the story of the above and I now have to tell the tale of Princess Diana's funeral when a friend of mine's family gathered together to watch the ceremony live on TV with all the pomp and ceremonial grandeur. This is a large Essex family who often holiday together, aunts and uncles, nieces

"Significant injury" meaning?
Husband is now at the end of his second week in the rehab ward. He has managed to relearn to sit , and can now be taken in a wheelchair off the ward and outside to see our adult children, for about twenty minutes, and he's been in the standing frame with slightly lessening support - he can hold his left

Brain fog/ oxygen debt/ D lactate
Hi all, I've been looking to find a solution for brain fog. Before I took levothyroxine my energy levels were not good. I believe the reason for my lack of energy was down to the fact that I was an ex smoker of a twenty a day habit. My GP did not diagnose me with anything which I could associate with

Sigmoidoscopy
Anyone had a sigmoidoscopy? I believe it's not as bad as a colonoscopy. I'm having it this Saturday but am so scared. I've requested to be sedated but reading people's views on sedation for colonoscopy procedure it seems it's such a light sedation that it does nothing. I want to cancel but I've been
