Does anyone else with ADHD have trouble driving? I’ve been in way too many accidents to the point I want to give up. But like Uber is so expensive. They should have like personal drivers covered by insurance for those with adhd

LOL!!!! can you imagine?!?!?!to answer your question- yes- when i dont take my stimulant meds then i have a tendency to get into minor accidents n basic traffic tickets- like 3 incidents/ tickets in 1 month time span last year. Dont get me started on previous years. My auto insurance company hates me. I dont have answer beyond meds but I hear exactly what you are saying!

There is absolutely no way my 25 y/o grandson can drive. He can't even focus to push the grocery cart, without bumping into displays or other shoppers. I in no way want that to sound critical. It's just fact. He gets very frustrated, and I hate it for him so much.

What a good idea! Hah seriously though, I wonder if you could interest Uber’s board in a disability charitable discount? After their terrible me-too scandals they could use some community service promotions!

Not necessarily; everyone has a different experience and a different profile.

Greetings I can’t remember exactly who , but I believe it was Dr. Brown… think that’s his name… any way he said that ADDers are a few years behind neurotypicals and I think the numbers were about 30% behind… so a 16 year old is equivalent to an 11 year old …. Would you hand the car keys to an 11 year old?

What I found useful was turn off my cell phone, turn off my music ( radar love makes me drive at excessive speed) and keep extra distance in front of me… I found this helpful for me…

Good Luck
